Great dressed up or dressed down. Another great pair of J&M!

Great looking and comfortable. Great for the airport because they're easy to slip off and on. I wouldn't wear these in a wet climate, but in my desert locale they're perfect

I really like this shoe! I prefer loafers over laces, but some loafers lack character. Not this suede slip-on wingtip! It adds a classic lace up style to what I think a more modern and dressed down, classic wingtip. The suede adds helps blend a casual style into a classic dress shoe. They run true to size. They are slightly tight in the toe box but will benefit from some stretching and wear. I've only worn them twice and they are already breaking in nicely. The only drawback and the reason for the loss of one star, which otherwise would have been a perfect score, is that the footbeds are not removable. I suffer from planter fasciitis and would prefer to replace the footbed with my own, which adds more arch support.

Out of 10 pairs of JM shoes I own, these did not fit true to size and are rather stiff and uncomfortable. Throwing on my Upton was like putting on a sneaker in comparison. They most definitely run a half size too big necessitating a half size down. Even with a double layer insole and a heal protector, the heals still had slippage and my achilles ached for three days. They are, however, beautiful shoes!

I like everything about these shoes except the soles. They are very similar to a pencil easer and last about as long. I've had this pair about a month or two and is considerable wear on the soles. I will be lucky if I get 6 months of wear out of these before having to resole or trash.

A bit disappointed. The shoe runs large, and is a bit boxier than I thought it would be. Also the dark brown color is almost black - not a very attractive color. It appears to be easy on the soles for walking, which was the main reason I got it.

I love the way these shoes look and feel, but after wearing them a couple of times, the rubber on the toe starts to fray. These shoes are way too expensive for this to happen. This is really disappointing because the quality of JM shoes are usually top-notch.

First, I was thinking I would be ok with a rubber sole. I was wrong. Second, I wear size 13, but these shoes made my feet look even bigger. Third, the details on the picture were much more detailed than those on the actual shoe.

Great looking upper but soles frayed after 4 times wearing. Need to solve that issue. Will be returning. It's too bad because they look great and comfortable. Just need to resolve to rubber sole used.

EVERY SHOE I OWN IS A JOHNSTON AND MURPHY, AND OVER THE YEARS I'VE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED... UNTIL THIS SHOE. I PURCHASED THESE AND THE UPTON PLAIN TOE WHICH HAS THE SAME TYPE OF SOLE. THE SOLE SHREADS AND PEELS WHICH LOOK DREADFUL FOR A SHOE OF THIS QUALITY. AS MANY TIMES THAT I'VE RECOMMENDED JM, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF THE SHOES THAT HAVE THIS TYPE SOLE.
