Great fit and excellent color

Bought a pair last year awesome shoe

These are very comfortable and look great. I've had them for a couple of months now and they are wearing in perfectly. A little pricey but definitely worth the investment.

Love the style and in the comforter the shoes.

I'm retired now and don't get as many chances to wear my extensive collection of J&M shoes as I would like. When I saw these Ellsworth Cap Toes, however, I had to have them. I like the unique to some extent and these shoes hit that box for me. Over the years, I have come to realize that the cap toe is a classic and now have several pairs of them in different iterations. The woven leather portions in this shoe are different enough that others have noticed and commented, so the attraction isn't just mine. :) I've been a J&M customer for many years [at least 20] and they are my go-to store for any kind of dress shoes. I know my size, so that is never a problem. I picked the "Style Driven" as my style description since the given is that all J&M shoes are comfortable if you get the right size. I would not wear a style for its own sake if it were uncomfortable. The one thing with these Ellsworths is that the part that is supposed to sit below the ankle actually rubs my ankle if I tie them tightly, so I tie them a little loosely and it's not a problem. I don't have that issue with any other J&M shoe. Bottom line is I highly recommend these shoes and any other J&M shoes. The leather is of high quality and the workmanship is superb.

Beautiful shoe!

I was concerned about the shoe being too tough on my wider feet but the medium width on this shoe and that adaptable Italian leather make for a perfect fit. Very impressed with the style and color of the shoe. Real Italian leather can never be argued with.

Beautiful looking shoe - clearly well made. Wore them for a wedding weekend without having the chance to break them in and they were still extremely comfortable for all the festivities

Color is supposed to be navy; much more black than navy.

Very nice shoe, my second pair, I also have them in Navy which are my favs!

Shoe is very nice, but is digging into my heel and caused blisters. Something is off with the heel portion of this shoe. Have only work once

I ordered two pair of dress shoes one described as tan (Ellsworth wingtip) and one described as brown (Ellsworth cap toe) When they arrived the color was almost identical and therefore the Ellsworth cap toe was returned for refund. I am a longtime customer and will continue to wear JM shoes as they are extremely comfortable work shoes and the only brand shoe I wear. JM just missed on the color description for these particular shoes.

The shoes look great I love the style of the weave. wish they came in a wider size

I PURCHASED A PAIR AND THE DYE WORE OUT WITHIN A MONTH - THE STORE GAVE ME ANOTHER PAIR AND THEY DID THE SAME THING - I HAVE PURCHASED JOHNSTON MURPHY SHOES BEFORE AND THEY ARE JUST NOT QUALITY SHOES AT ALL. SORRY I TRIED TO BECOME A LOYAL CUSTOMER BUT THEY FAILED 3 TIMES

The finish appears to be splitting near the lace straps after two days of wear. I will need to return these.
