I've been wearing ECCO shoes for over 20 years. I've seen no decline at all in quality of their shoes over those two decades. Typically I can wear a single pair of this kind of shoe for a couple of years easily. This new Helsinki 2.0 has a LOT more cushion inside than other models I've worn. That's a good thing (the previous were still comfortable). Highly recommended.

This is a new version of this style. Appears lighter. Well made.

My husband is very happy with the fit, and says the shoe is very comfortable.

I had 2 pairs of an older version of this shoe that I loved. Bought this one in the same size as previous models. The length & midfoot width were just right but there was extra room at the top of my foot around the tongue that I could put my finger into & would flex out as I walked. I tried a 2nd pair & it was the same. The heal also slipped. I was sad they changed the fit on this shoe, since they fit so well in every other way.

Ecco had a wider selection of these brown slip on’s, but seems less options now. This has been my go-to shoe for over 10 years. Previously never had to break them un, but they seem much stiffer and less comfortable then any of my previous purchases. This is the first time I had to go a size larger for this shoe, so something changed - maybe more durable? Overall still a nice looking shoe. I only had for a week so will see how they break in.

Good quality

I’ve ordered ECCO’s in this style and size several times over. The toe box is too tight, what I thought was a new leather shoe stiffness seems to be a physically smaller shoe.

too small

I've worn this shoes for years. The 44 seemed longer and shallower than previous Eccos. So both too big and too small. I had to return them.

Tight fit, not great support. Toe box was restrictive.

About 3/4 of a men’s size too big. Foot slipped around inside this shoe. Looks good otherwise.

I love these shows but they were far too narrow compared to my usual fit with Medium/D sizes. The translation of European sizing to American sizing might be a factor.
