Very well built shoe. Very comfortable. The bottom is a bit too shiny like a sneaker but again comfortable.

Comfortable enough to wear all day. Water-resistant, & good looking. Love these shoes!

These were expensive for us but we still took a chance and couldnt be more pleased. My college age son was working in a fine dining restaurant that required dress shoes. These checked both boxes are far as being a gray work shoe and filling in for casual nights out in the town. Johnson Murphy was a brand my dear old Dad swore by. He always said never skimp on quality when it comes to shoes. And he was right. Still excellent service from this company as well. Highly recommend!

Took a while to break them in to my feet

I purchase most of my shoes from Johnston & Murphy. Their quality is very good.

I love these shoes. I've been wearing the blue nubuck ones for a couple of years and wanted some variety so bought these. No regrets whatsoever. They look and feel great and are oh so comfortable! Well done, J&M!

Size fit smaller than other J&M shoes. Not as comfortable as other XC4 models

Rating is not about the shoes. Ordered beginning of October. -on back order, when I did receive at end of month it was the wrong shoe style . Now waiting until December. In all, Have had to call four separate times, with an average wait time to speak over 15 minutes. Once speaking with CS they are very helpful.

It seems your sizing keeps changing. I have purchased 6x pair of this style abs the sizing is inconsistent. If you could qualify control this issue you would win more customers

They are a really great shoe. Very comfortable, as a pilot I end up walking through airports a lot sometimes even running. These are like wearing tennis shoes. One problem I have with them. Shoelaces don't last long. I had to buy new ones within a month. They just ripped. So have a spare shoelace with you in your bag.

I had to order these as the were unavailable in the store. They are a great looking shoe, as are most of J&M's mens offerings. The issue was the fit wasn't the same as one of a different color I did try at the store. For my size 11.5, I experienced some heel lift. Sadly, I returned them.

I got a pair of these just over a year ago, and they are very comfortable right out of the box. But, 14 months later, the glue has come apart on my right shoe, so now my sock gets wet whenever I'm wearing these with the ground wet. I paid just over $220 in a mall for these shoes, and I would have expected them to last a lot longer! I mostly sit up front in an airplane most of my day so I'm not hard on my shoes. I expected more.

Laces are too long. Fit is a bit loose. Should've found a store or purchased something else.

They were great for a day. Then the left shoe started to rub my heel. They seem to run low in the back. I have talked to others and they all say you have to wear thick socks or you will get blisters. I love how they look and felt for a day before they started to hurt.

bought 3 new pair of XC4 to replace last ones... all were made different and did not fit the way I fell in love with before

Shoes are Great. After about three wearings the laces blue outer layer stripped away and the bright white inner layer is showing. Very Disappointing

I shoe looks great but it cut into my ankle and I have returned it. Otherwise it fit fine.

I love the look and feel of the shoe. I purchased in Jan. 23. 6 months later the sole started making a noise like air coming out when I walked. For the price of these I would have like for them to last longer. Contacted JM and got no response.
