Boot is solid, runs long.

They did run more than a 1/2 size large but wearing a thicker sock will make them work. Disappointed they are not made in America. So far so good.

Great looking boots, super comfortable after the first wear. The sole is really cushy and could see myself wearing these all day. Only problem was that the first pair had the pull in the back rip off on my second use. Invest in a shoe horn to care for these boys.

I'll start off by saying I really love the look and style of these boots. They work great as a casual and upscale light boot. I wear a pair of bombas long wool socks and it makes the whole combination comfortable. The construction feels quality and I believe they'll last a long time with proper care. My gripes are an inconsistent appearance. I originally ordered one size too big and they were at first a much lighter stain than the picture. I returned that pair and got the proper size and the boots were noticeably darker than the previous ones. I actually liked the darker stain better but they were both very different from each other. Also I find that the insoles are comfortable but not really the same as my left boot is mildly uncomfortable when I stand or walk.

This is a good looking boot type shoe. I like the styling and the leather. One thing that is not the best is getting the boot on! The top is tight making it tough to get your foot into the shoe. I am hoping it will stretch with time and making this process a little easier.

These jm boots are just as pictured color is perfect and very light and comfortable.the negative is they are very hard to get on very tight opening but once on the fit is good .every body has a different fit I wear a 9.5 usually but this boot wasn't available in it so I took a chance with a 10 and I'm glad I did perfect fit! I'm not saying size up a half size but it worked for me . Looking forward to wearing these boots

My favorite boot, high quality leather and fits perfect. Only problem is the tab on back left shoe tore off within a month and now it rubs against my ankle. Bummer

Beautiful boot, but too narrow for my foot. Had to return. Wish JM would offer a wide option in this style.

I normally wear ropers, but these looked interesting. Extremely comfortable. I really like the color and style. The sole is pretty cool and slightly aggressive. I plan on wearing daily.

I've bought many pairs of shoes from JM, and I ALWAYS wear a 9. ALWAYS. I don't like ordering shoes through the mail, but I went ahead and did it this time, because at JM I always wear a 9. Well....they were too small...had to send them back. Too bad. I liked the look, though.

I think the boot maybe a little too big, probably should have gone with 9.5. But the boot is great. Love the look.

I like the boots a lot. Great style and looks. They are not the most comfortable boot I've worn but I'm hoping they will break in with wear and be fine. The ordering process, customer service, and return policy is great.

The boot is excellent, but I don't understand why it's so huge. I had to exchange for a full size down.

I do like the styling I gave a 4 because they are a bit narrow. Otherwise great boots PS my feet are pretty difficult to fit

These boots look very stylish, however, fit extremely narrow. The boots are tight and uncomfortable to wear. I ended up returning them.

The pull on tabs ripped off the interior of the boots almost like they were designed to. The oiled finish is really non-existent unlike the older ones. Comfy, but questionable quality. I have many old pair of JM Chelsea boots and the quality seems to be dropping.

The stitching came apart on the first day of ownership on my first pair, which I bought from a local JM distributor. I don't think the boot will stand up to heavy use or last very long, but I do love the styling.

Although having 8 pair of Johnson Murphy shoes, the same size in the Barrett Chelsea boot was too large and not comfortable so the pair was returned. I like the appearance of the boot and well made. Return process easy via FedEx.
