Perfect boot for the Johnston and Murphy shoe collection. This boot goes great with a pair of jeans. Not too dressy or relaxed. Has a rugged look to it. Comfortable as to be expected.

Very nice boot. Especially for the price. It fits a size bigger than other JM shoes that I have. I have owned two pairs of these. They look great and are incredibly comfortable.

I bought this pair of boots for my husband. He loves them. He wants the whole collection of the Barrett Chelsea Boots. He likes the look and comfort of the Barrett Chelsea Boots.

True to size (didn't need to downsize .5 size like others recommended). Got mahogany. Out of the box shoes had minor scuffing in a spot or 2, but that didn't bother me as they are developing natural patina wonderfully and it's kind of part of the look. Comfortable. Not heavy. Happy overall.

I wear a 11.5 size shoe from J&M. Received Chelsea boots on time and they were running big. I ordered 1/2 size smaller hoping that they would have a better fit, but it was small. Happened with this particular model only. I would not recommend these boots to anyone.

Great look, feel

These are very comfortable, stylish boots. The fit and finish is impeccable. The sole is soft and flexible which makes for a comfortable ride. However, that also usually leads to faster-than-normal wear. As with most J&M shoes, I recommend sizing down. 1/2 size down if you wear thick socks; full size down if you wear dress socks.

The look is great! At a local restaurant and some guy stopped to ask me where I got my boots. JM online!
