This shoe provides great support and stability for distance running. I use these for training for and running half marathons. Mizuno Wave Inspires are great in general, but the 18s are the best they've produced (even better than the 19s in my experience). I'll likely keep buying these until they stop making this version!

This shoe fits amazingly well? My used-to-be-narrow foot is still narrow in the heel, but now a medium width in the front. This shoe, in a medium width, accommodates my medium front and narrow heel. It's the only shoe I can find that will! Thank you, Mizuno! I wear them every day!

I have been wearing Mizuno's for 20+ years. I have had issues with my hips for 30+ years, this was the first brand of shoe that I was able to wear comfortably - ALL THE TIME. I started with Wave Riders and at times have used Wave Inspires. I need a medium stability and the Inspire does that for me. I had two hip replacements in 2022 and basically have worn no other shoes for two straight years. I have to have multiple pairs - one for inside, one for the gym, one for outside bumming around - going to breweries, and one for working in the yard. The Rider of course is a little bit lighter but not by much. If Mizuno made a good sandal - I would buy that. I just fall in love with a particular version and I buy all of those before they change too much. I have had a few versions that caused me to revert back to the Wave Inspire 18 as my favorite of all time. The reason for 4 stars is I can only find gray and I have to mark my shoes so I keep one pair pristine for in my home. Wish I could find more.

I liked the wave inspire 11 and 15 and for some reason Mizuno discontinued. I have a small-athletic foot perfect for the 11 or 15. A sales person recommended the 18 and they are actually pretty good. I'd still rather have the 11.

I got fitted at a running store around 8 years and the specialist recommended the Wave model for my foot. I have relatively flat feet, arch pain, and plantar faciaitis. These shoes provide a ton stability that helps keep my body feeling decent. They aren't not what I would call a fast shoe and they aren't super cushiony, but they work for me.

I've been wearing mizuno wave inspire shoes for 10+ years and love the comfort they provide. I've tried other brands and always come back to these. I size up for extra space for my toes. These are the only shoes I can find that I can wear all day with no pain from my overpronation.

This is my fourth pair of Wave Inspire 18. The first time I tried these I was in shock about how perfect they were for me. I've never found that with any other running shoe. I immediately bought another pair not knowing if they would be discontinued soon. Once the first pair needed replacement, I started with my 2nd pair and bought another backup while I still could. This pair was the 4th in the line. Honestly, I will probably buy one more now. The black I originally bought (for 3 pairs) is gone so I chose this color. All that matters is that the shoe is absolutely the best running shoe I've ever owned. Thank you Mizuno!

I walk & jog, so comfortable & my feet never hurt!

The only shoe/brand I've run in since a hip procedure and it keeps me going!
