The shoes were not comfortable to wear all day. Then, it is not worth to buy.

I really hoped to love these loafers. With an WW foot, it's hard to find comfortable, stylish shoes that don't look like my grandma's. Unfortunately, these felt too narrow and I had to return them

SAS Hope is a really cute, quality loafer. It did fit a bit snug on me though in both width and length, but not enough to justify going up a 1/2 size or to a wide width. Maybe the shoes would sufficiently stretch with wear. I really liked the shoe and wanted to keep it but there was a defect in the upper portion of the left shoe. Under the foam insole, you can see a vertical seam in the forefoot. That seam was raised in the left shoes I received and I could feel the bump on the ball of my foot when I walked even through the foam insert. Disappointing. Painful too. Had to return them. (My usual size is 8M.)

I loved the Willow, but it didn't provide enough arch support for me and didn't accommodate my power step inserts. I was sad to have to return them.

I bought the Cranberry color and they are beautiful shoes! Unfortunately they are a little rough and slip up and down on my heel when I walk. The leather is not as soft as on other SAS shoes. I can wear socks with them and problem solved. They are just so pretty on the bare feet.

So I am now about to return my third order of these shoes. I am almost always a 9.5M - mediums are usually a tad wide for me but medium works. I ignored the comments, ordered a 9.5M and had to return them - way too narrow and too short. I reordered a 10M. It might have stretched but still seemed narrow and short; moreover, for $150 I didn't want to chance it. I reordered a 11M and it was way too long. Three orders and three returns. I am so disappointed.

I wanted to keep these as I really liked the look and comfort- Not like the usual SAS old lady shoes! But they're just a smidge short on my longer foot and after wearing them around the house several times I decided I wouldn't be able to wear them with socks and they would get unattractively stretched out quickly. The next size up wasn't available and I'm afraid they would have been too wide at the heel anyway, so back they go!

I am a 7 and I returned these for 7.5 and am happy. I have a variety of foot issues and was very happy to find these that I can add to my wardrobe for the days when I want some variety.

This shoe fit really really well - I love the fact that SAS uses the elasticized heel for a custom fit. Just did not like "jeans" color - its more of a dusty blue and I need a pair of NAVY loafers. The shoe style while not trendy could easily be worn with slacks, jeans or long skirt - so maybe consider getting a pair in a basic color like Black or brown... If it is ever is manufactured in a true navy, I will be in line to purchase..- are you listening SAS?? Love Zappos

I normally wear between a 6.5 and 7 M depending on the make of the shoe, and since I planned to wear these with no socks or thin footies, I first opted for the 6.5. Nope, too small. Returned these for a 7 and they fit perfectly and, importantly, were comfortable right out of the box. The style is quite nice, not dowdy at all like many of the SAS styles, and these shoes also do a good job of masking my killer bunions without putting pressure on them. These are well worth the hefty price tag.

I just did not like the look of the shoe in person: toe is very square and color is a dusty blue (screen showed it as more like a dark blue). The fit was somewhat snug but I would expect this style to start as snug and loosen up so ok.

Beautiful shoes, but very narrow in the forefoot, even though I ordered the wide.

Felt too tight even though this is my regular size. I feel like SAS has changed sizing a bit. Love the heel grip though.

I always wear a 6W in SAS shoes, but these are still tight and leave my feet with a feeling of tingling pain and much discomfort.

I am very disappointed in the quality of these handmade SAS shoes! Navy HOPE Jeans. The workmanship does not match the price. The beige back of heal lining shows up on the back of the outside top edge of the shoe! This should be navy to match the leather, as in the black styles. Looks like a mistake-- very noticeable. Also, the heal does not fit snug on the back of my foot, which rubs up and down as I walk. I have worn SAS for many years, mainly because of the narrow width, comfort and long-lasting quality. This is NOT like other styles I have worn. I am returning for refund--full refund, and ask you not to charge a $10 restocking fee please. If these were not a poor fit, and not poorly made, I would not have returned them. Please see the deficiencies that I mentioned and redesign this style--I really loved the look of the shoe.

I bought a pair a while back, and they fit perfect, but sadly, the elastic around the shoe was too loose in the 2nd pair so I couldn't wear them. I really wanted a second pair before vacation because they are so comfortable. The soft leather and elastic allows me to slide my arthritic toes into the shoe without pain, and these shoes expand when my feet swell. The soft leather is so important when your feet swell.

not at all what I expects. Toe is much more square than it looked in the picture and the shoe is narrower and smaller than the size would indicate.

I really wanted to love these I am a 7 WW and they did feel pretty close to the correct fit but the heel was loose so for this price they are going back.

Beautiful style. I ordered the blue pair and they are just perfect for jeans yet stylish enough to wear to work. Size 8.5W usually works for me, but based on reviews about this style being narrow, I ordered 8.5 WW that ended up being too wide and loose for me. I am recovering from the plantar fasciitis on my right heal, which I developed from wearing the wrong size winter boots, and it got a little aggravated when I tried to break in this pair.
