It is an excellent shoe to work with but it is very hard inside, it is NOT padded and very strong for walking.
But high and of excellent material.

Shoes are comfortable and don't skid when worn. They feel a little warm in the summer and may be great for the cooler months. SAS has narrow size shoes unlike many shoe brands and their shoes last for years. I hope they will continue to stock narrow sizes in the future to help with my footwear needs.

These shoes are very well made and comfortable from the get go. The only drawback I'm not crazy about is that the tongue is sewed into the side of the shoe. I have to wear AFO braces and sometimes it is tricky to get the shoe on since the tongue takes up so much space. I love everything else about the shoe.

The toe box was fine - lots of space for my 7W toes, but the heel was also very wide, and my feet slipped as I walked. The heel counter comes up too high for my foot as well, but I am short, and have this problem with many shoes. I returned them - Zappos: thanks for the easy return policy! and am now browsing for something for wide toes and normal heels.

These shoes seem narrow to me; it's the only shoe I've had to purchase in triple wide; all my other shoes are double-wide. They seem pretty comfortable, although I've not walked very far in them yet. The toe box feels plenty wide and high enough.
They *are* loose in the heel as others mention, but so far that doesn't bother me much. I also have clear silicone heel inserts I could use; the ones at Rite-Aid or CVS are in my Walking Cradle flats and work fine.
I agree with another poster; New Balance doesn't seem to have the quality it used to, so for now I'm switching to SAS.

This shoe was almost good, but a little snug because I wear an insert for my hammer toe. I decided on the 10.5 instead.

SAS shoes are very sturdy and well made. I think they are the best. My feet are very sensitive, so I am still trying to break them in.
Zappos customer service is great!

These are my everyday walking shoe. My dog goes crazy when she sees me put them on. SAS is one of the few companies making narrow shoes so I have been wearing them for years. My last 2 pairs of "Free Time" had unusual heel wear, so I tried Liberty and so far I am happy with them I just wish they came in a light color. I hate "black oxfords", or" Nun shoes" as a family member called them.

Shoe salesman ordered these in 8 3E. I found them to give me a backache. Felt like I was walking on a board. Not cushy on feet. Returned them

I love how these shoes look and was thrilled to order them. BUT the left shoe was so wide in the back that it slipped on and off no matter what I did (thick socks, a heel pad). I returned them and ordered another pair of shoes, not as nicely styled but hopefully they’ll fit.

I expected a lot more from this shoe. The insoles are much thinner than the insoles in the "walk easy" shoe.
No support and they actually husrt my feet when I put them on. Going back.

I wanted these shoes to fit so much. I wore them at home the total of 2 hours. The toe box was small for 3 wide mostly in the left shoe. They were hard to put on. Other reviewers were right about the heels feeling like the shoe was falling off. They also made my legs and feel fatigued after a while compared to New Balance shoes. I really had a headache after wearing these. Although I could tell they were made of quality materials, they hurt so bad I cannot keep them. Also, another reason I was so drawn to these shoes was the slip proof soles but after my grandson spilled pretzels I could hardly get out of my chair because I my shoes were slipping so on the crushed pretzels. I feel really bad because there were so many other good reviews, I just may have wired feet. New Balance shoes have worked for me in some styles but their quality has been going down.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance. I have tried Propet shoe which seemed to made of quality materials but legs tire.

these are the most comfortable shoes i've ever worn. However, I needed them to be slip resistant for work and they are not! I work in a fast food restaurant and I was sliding all over the place.

Years ago I bought a pair that was the best , most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. I don't know what happened but this pair didn't even come close to the comfort of the ones I bought before.

I have a pair of SAS sandals that I love. Their shoes are very well made but these work shoes are uncomfortable and do not have the arch support that my sandals do they are pretty flat and the footbed has a small arch support in it. The heels slip, even w heel inserts. Im trying to do something with them so I can use them but I feel like I wasted good money. I wish I hadn't bought them. My feet, especially my ankles, were hurting and I hurried to get new shoes on my day off big mistake.

These shoes appeared well made but they run small. I couldn't get my foot into the shoe and I bought a size larger than I needed. I was very disappointed

Bought these for my 90 year old Mother. They were too sticky on the bottom which made her not want to wear them.

I bought these shoes before and loved them. It was time for a 2nd pair and i am not happy. My feet, especially the right one, are killing me. The shoe looks deformed and it must be nit made right. I am so disappointed. These shoes are not cheap

I bought this for my elderly mother(88), it fits but it's to heavy for her to walk in. It's going back.
