Haven' t worn them yet, they feel good on try-on. Color is pleasing.

I upgraded to the Gel Kayano 27 from a GT 2000. I definitely made the right choice! They are really comfortable, great for walking or running, and light weight. I overpronate and haven't had much discomfort with these! I wish the colors were a little more diverse. I seemed to like a lot of the men's colors over the women's but that's just a personal preference. Overall, great sneaker!

My feet were sore at first but after about 4 days they are feeling a lot better

They run even bigger than the 26s. Consider sizing down a half size.

These shoes provide good stability since I'm very flat footed. They run true to size, I ordered my usual size 7. These shoes did take some breaking in time. By my third run in them they felt comfortable. I had the gel nimbus 18 for a while which I liked very much. I like the color pattern (I ordered the black and gray). I was nervous to order running shoes online but the quiz and description online helped.

These sneakers are fine but don't have the kind of arch support and cushioning I was hoping for. I've looking for sneakers that are great for urban walking/hiking and just can't seem to find the right kind for me. These also run a tad small for me in the front. I'm usually a 7.5 but an 8 may have been better for me.

The way it leans to the right is different than previous versions I have.

I ordered several pairs of asics, brooks, and hokas to find a couple pairs of shoes that would accommodate my custom orthotics and provide stability to my weak ankle. One pair of the Hokas fits (the Stinson ATR 6), and I’ve had to return all the asics and brooks and two hokas. The asics definitely run small for me, and the brooks were almost ok but I need a slightly roomier toebox. In most “regular” shoes (loafers, mules, and such), I wear a 10, so ordered the recommended 10.5 in the assortment of running shoes. I’m keeping a pair of the hokas and will exchange one of the asics and brooks for a size 11. The custom orthotics throw off any semblance of size continuity - even with the shoes’ insoles removed first, of course.

This is my 5th pair ASICS, 4th pair of Gel Kayano, my first being the Gel-Kayano 16, next was Kayano 18, next for fun I bought the Gel Noosa Tri, then Gel Kayano 21, now this newest pair Gel Kayano 27. This pair is the first pair of ASICS that my feet have actually hurt after wearing them. I'm very disappointed that my feet hurt. It seems as though the fit is wider than my previous pairs. I have always ordered a "wide" width for my foot. (With the exception of the Noosa as "wide" was not offered...I did not use that shoe for my running but just for a fun shoe to wear around) I have already thrown out the box or I would have returned them!

They fit well, as always - but are worn out after only 6 months of use! And - as a runner - I don't wear the same pair of shoes every day, I alternate with a second pair. They are completely shot, with no resilience in the soles at all.

I seldom write a review about this shoe because it has always worked perfectly for me. It has support, cushion, and I can use my orthotics! However.... the 27 runs much narrower, and shorter!! Squeezes my long skinny toes!! I have a narrow foot. I am trying a half size larger, size 11, and I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe! Wish they would go back to the previous fit of Kayano 25 or 26!! I will be retuning these along with another pair!!

Ugly! The black and ginger peach looked much better in the photo than in person. Returning!

I have been running in Kayanos for the past 15 years, and it's my favorite shoe. 27th's are very stylish. However, they gave me blisters on the side of my heal, and they a lot more "stiff" than all my other Kayanos. I'm a bit disappointed but hoping they break in a bit soon.

I so wanted to love these shoes. They were my birthday present. I didn't even purchase for running. I purchased for aerobics in my home, however the second time I worked out in them half of my right foot went numb and it was a horrible experience. Also the box was very narrow even for a wide. Asics really messed up with this version.
I'd also recommend:
asics, brooks, hoka one one

So disappointed! The toe box is "tight"! For some reason, Asics has been running narrow for the last few seasons. They looked great but just too tight overall. I returned them.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks

Wide size was still too narrow. My foot is not especially wide, but I like lots of room in the front so I usually order a wide. This felt narrower than a regular width.

The shoe was consistent in size and comfort but instead of the sides having the plastic decor sewn in Asics used stickers for the design. In Chicago the shoes would not survive with sticker design.

Should have gone with my original shoe size of 7. Instead ordered 7.5 based in reviews. Will have to wear thick socks since exchanges aren't allowed.

I bought these sneakers in October and was really excited about them. However, within 6 weeks of pretty light wear (walking/jogging outside a few days a week, running errands, etc), the bridge tore and there's a small hole in the fabric. The bone in my foot does stick out a bit and I've had similar things happen with cheaper quality shoes. But I'm disappointed that these Asics sneakers ripped and didn't have more stretch in them to allow for friction and movement. I've worn Asics sneakers for a while and this is the first time it has happened, so it might be a fault of this specific design. But still, disappointing.

Not what I had hoped. Not very comfortable. Started peeling after week 3. However ASICS was great in accepting my claim and sending me something different to try. Maybe next years shoe will be better.

I was looking for shoe with a sturdy, inflexible sole at the forefront due to a previous foot injury. These were too flexible at the ball of the foot for my needs. They're going to have to go back.
