Very disappointed I cannot take the insole out to put in my orthotic which I need for support.

I did a running/sole analysis a few years back, and have purchased the Kayano ever since. My only criticism (and why I am giving four stars) is that the shoe seems to deteriorate very quickly - some of the fabric at the ankle has worn already (I've had this pair for around 1 month). I would pay more if the quality was better - it feels wasteful throwing out a pair of shoes every few months. Keep in mind, I am hardly pounding the pavement in these; I wear these for walking, the odd run and to go to the gym.

Love this pair of shoes! Very light and soft. The only part I didn't like is the tongue. Not enough coverage for my little chubby toes

The first time I wore them, the were a little snug just below the toe area, but now that I have worn them quite a few times, they fit great. They are one of my favourite shoes, considering I walk 5-6 miles a day.

Perhaps not as deep in the heel, broader in the toe and softer sole as my old kayano 25 but have only used them sporadically during the last two weeks and if there is a difference it is small.

I picked these as a direct replacement for my gel-Kayano 19s and I am not disappointed! Great fit and comfortable, perfect for what I needed. It would have been 5 stars except the deliver took almost two weeks and I had no notification from Asics that there was an issue, I had to phone and ask. They said that the item had been packed and picked so should be out shortly, but it still took another few days to arrive.
Communications need to be improved.

Expensive for what they are but they do look lovely. Always wear Kayano's

I have worn Asics since I started running 6 years ago. This is my first pair of Kayano running shoes having previously stuck with Dynaflyte. I found the Kayano provide good support particularly to the ankles and are well cushioned but somewhat heavier than the Dynaflyte. I think they are a good training shoe giving you support on those long training runs but will run my races in another par of Dynaflyte which are definitely lighter and faster to run in.

The shoes are a little tight. I always get the same style. But otherwise they are great

It is a great shoe; however, it does feel tight. Tried a bigger size and it was too big. Comes rather narrow. Overall, I would but it again. Have three pairs.

Great shoes, guaranteed Asics quality. Not to mention how cool they look! Size was a bit smaller that my other Kayanos, otherwise no complaints.

I wear an 8 in general footwear (primary Chuck Taylors), and 9's for Asics runners.
The 27s are very light, a little too long considering these are the same size as my Kayano 25's but nothing overly noticeable. Originally bought for running only - but recently had to drop running due to a knee injury. Now used primarily for 30-40mins of HIIT and an immediate 2.3km powerwalk, 5 times a week. As a a consequence there were an excellent choice for a mixture of HIIT and short powerwalks. My 25's were very stiff around the ankles due to only being runners, while the 27s are excellent as they are light, breathable and a tad softer around the ankles (squats were slightly uncomfortable with the stiff ankle support) All n all, very stylish, flexible, love the full black, semi supportive (not as supportive as the 25's, but the 25's were far heavier - more tech) but a very very nice pair of active shoes.

These are comfortable and supportive. I ordered my usual size 8 and they fit well, although I wear a 7 in street shoes. I have some tendinitis at my achilles, and these don't rise as high in that area as other running shoes, so they are perfect for me. I like the arch support and the amount of foam, important since these are mostly for miles of city walking.

I really like this shoe. It is comfortable and provides great structure for those who over or under pronate a little. However, the toe box is a little smaller and it's more narrow than the regular Kayano 27s. I was glad to see that Asics provided women with a non pastel option.

These are so cute but they run almost a 1/2 size shorter and they are very, very narrow. The laces are very short as well and there is barely any extra to tie properly.
