I don't do a lot of hiking but I do enjoy going for walks in my neighborhood that has rough roads. These Ryka Summit Trail shoes are great for walking and hiking. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I do have alittle wider feet so it did take a few days for me to stretch them out to my liking, but I would say they run true to size. The arch support that is included in the shoe is great and no need to extra inserts. The light grey color is simple and goes with any outfit.

I really like the design and look of these sneakers. The soles are also very comfortable and they offer a lot of arch support. My only complaint is that the cushioning on the back of the shoe rubs my ankle socks down which is the most annoying and uncomfortable feeling. I've tried several styles of ankle socks that I own and it happens to all of them. Overall I like these but I advise you to wear them with much taller sockers, or no socks at all.

I am happy with my shoes! I like the color coordination and it is light on my feet, not heavy at all. Walking with ease. The shoes does not have high pressure so my toes are comfortable even when walking on long periods of time.

These shoes look great and are super comfortable as well. I have worn them to work a few times and my feet do not hurt by the end of my 10 hour shift. I wish there was a little more support but all in all it is a very nice shoe.

Very disappointed-- my daughter LOVED her older pair of Ryka, and since we like to hike we thought this would be a good shoe. During our first camping trip, parts of the sole started to come off (in less than 2 weeks). She wore her hiking boots on our big hikes-- these were used on smaller hikes with a modest amount of scrambling on rocks. Super disappointed, would not call these 'trail shoes'. Perhaps they are meant for soft dirt trails.
