I have wide feet and calves, and I love the look of cowboy/western boots, but it's so hard to find any of that style in wide widths and wide calves. I saw these cuties in my favorite color, turquoise, and surprisingly, they came in wide widths, so I simply HAD to try them.....and I am SO HAPPY I did! I always order up a size in any fur-lined footwear, so I went with the 10W in these. The calf width measurement given states 15 inches, but for me and my needs-a-17-inch-width-calf legs, these boots were a loose fit, I still have room in the calves with these on to tuck a slim pant leg in, and that almost NEVER happens for me! Did I mention comfort? Oh, yes, these have suede feet and super-soft luxurious leather on the calves, and some arch support in the removeable insole, too. Will be warm and comfortable and very very cute boots for many years to come! Love them! Thanks, Zappos!!

These boots are so cute and crazy comfy! I got the wide to accommodate heavy socks and the fit perfectly. Very well made also...and came in a super cool box that I just couldn't throw away. Lol

A little loose on the heel, but my favorite boots of all time!! I am seriously so happy.

These boots are so cute and I like the fuzzy inside. They looked a little big on my feet and I wasn't sure where I would wear them. They would be fun as apres ski boots. So warm and cuddly. The western look is really unique. I usually wear a 7.5 N or M. These in a size 8N were a good fit without a sock. I wanted to keep them, but I reluctantly returned them.

I do recommend to order a size up or half size up. The boots are great and extremely comfortable. The craftsmanship is five star, never disappoints it with this style.

Super cute but size 11 was a bit too short. The width was great for my narrow feet. As others stated, the calf size is really large. I had to return them.

I usually wear a 9.5 in frye, I got the 10 narrow and it fits well. One note is that the top of the boot is pretty wide, but still looks OK.

Nice boot for winter because it’s “real” shearling (ie came from a sheep not a factory). Seem warm ( weather hasn’t been cold ) , got an 8 wide so I can tuck in my pants / jeans. Nice rubber sole good on snow, not sure about ice (yet). My concern so far is they’d be great in snow below the top of the boot, the top is wide enough to let snow in if it’s too deep. And since the tops is ‘inside out’ sheepskin I’m not sure they’d stay dry ( but probably would stay warm if wet due to the nature of wool). Not a stiff boot, comfortable. Look great with jeans & esp brown, dark green/teal/aqua shades. I got the teal color boots

Having arthritic feet and a bunion I need wide shoes & boots. These in 8 wide fit fine, a bit loose in the heel as expected ( with medium weight wool socks). They have a vienoy boot look but are softer because the good are suede with real sheepskin inside ( ie turned inside out with the sheepskin against your skin). My leggings & jeans fit inside the boot, as the entire shaft is wide, especially at the top. I don’t think they’d look good with a dress or skirt due to the softer look. But they are comfortable and warm. Wish they came in half sizes.
