So much cushion that I didn't realize I was standing on ice as long as I did. Great traction, easy on/off, and great protection from the cold and snow. The black with black soles keeps my employer happy too.

Got em for cold/wet/snowy but still casual days in the Midwest. They've done their job well so far. Comfy, good water resistance, warm, love the MTE outsole. As far as fit, they're pretty true to size. Maybe a touch big, but just like enough room for thick socks. Not much of an issue for me but if you want a real snug for maybe go a half size down? I like the roomy fit.

To be fair i have only had these shoes/boots for a few weeks. First impression is they are exactly what i was looking for a slip-on sneaker boot. I'll be using for chores around the house, The quality seams good and the fit is ok a little loose in the heal, maybe a half size down would remedy this don't know. looks like very little break-in time will be needed which is a plus, and they look good on me as an older guy, i think they won't stand out. only complaint is the grip, the sole may be too hard, I stepped on a wet wooden step and almost took a header, to be fair not sure if any shoe would have done any better but it happened and made, he uneasy about the shoe, i will still keep wearing them until i figure things out..Vans are a cool shoe been wearing off and on for 50 years??

These are very warm (which is nice for cold weather) and comfortable. I believe that people are left with the impression that they are a bit bigger than is typical of Vans sizing, but I think that the material within the shoe is slippery and therefore creates that impression. Overall a nice shoe.

These run small, so get at least a half size bigger than you normally wear. I normally wear a 9.5 but bought a 10 based on other reviews and they fit just right. Warm, comfy and easy to slip on. Throw on some thermal socks for extra cushion and warmth. I purchased and received the pair with the white stitching, which I like. Gives the a little bit of a moccasin look.

I read the comments stating they run small. I'm normally a 8 or 8.5. I bought the 8.5 and they were huge! I returned them and ordered the 8. They're still too big! Will return. I'm disappointed, I really do want them. Waiting for 7.5 women's to be back in stock. Hopefully that works out. Again, I'm pretty disappointed.

These slip ons are exactly what I've been waiting/looking for. The skate hi's are my previous pair and I've busted through with my pinkie toe.

All my Vans have always been size 8.5W / 7M.........I LOVE love love love these but sjze 8.5W are a bit bigger than other Vans styles.(Vans fan for years) I want a size 8 but I can't seem to add them to my cart. Otherwise adorable & comfortable shoe

I was expecting the ankle to be a little higher but they still look good. Only thing is the thread on the stretchy part on the tongue pulled off, so now it is broken :(

Definitely order up 1/2 a size at least. If you are on the edge then go up a full size. Pretty comfy. The color in the tan was off just a little bit it seems to me but not a deal breaker. Pretty cool style if you ask me. A slip on boot!!

I work doin g lawns, these shoes were very comfortable, but shoe separated from the sole after 6 days of wearing them.

The insole causes the foot to sit high which causes unnecessary pressure. They feel too tight . The color is not a true black either, more blueish.

I like the design of the MTE line and the mid top slip ons, but the quality of figment is not good. I bought two pairs 9.5M. One pair the right side fit loose and then bought another pair and the left side for loose. . The right was better but still not the same for from right to left. I had to order these online because they do not have them in the stores yet. Either wait for them to come out in the store so you can try them on before purchasing them or possibly order two sets like I did and hopefully they will fit correct. I have purchased other MTE shoes and have not had a problem. A bit disappointed as I have been a VANS customer for over 40 years.

Well I like the shoes but I used them 3 times and the side rubber is coming off..

I really love the way they look. Very cool and very elegant. And because of the reviews...I went a half size up. Turns out I should've gone a size and a half up. These. Run. Small. Standard vans slip-ons always have a break in period where they cause hot spots on my heels. These are no different, just higher up the ankle. Style over substance I reckon.

The shape of these shoes isn't natural to feet. After walking in them for a long time they feel uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend if you have foot pain

Vans used to sell a mid slip that was all black it looked so sleek.The white visible stitching is tired and tacky. Won't be buying this time
