I really love these shoes. They're very convenient and they also look great. I wear them all the time, no matter where I go. Pretty durable too, thick sole. I should have ordered a size 6.5 or 7 instead of size 7.5 though.

Great product, well made and extremely comfortable. Only drawback is they are not the most durable. With regular wear, I usually replace them after 10-12 months but I see this as the nature of the design, not a flaw in manufacturing. I would highly recommend them.

I got these for my daughter, and she loves them. My only suggestion is to buy them at least a half size bigger than you normally wear because they run a little small. But once they get 'broke in' they are very comfortable.

I bought the Sherpa black/black. It's perfect for winter time since it's well insulated but at the same time simple, light, and flexible, perfect for walking long distances. I wish more shoes had the same inner insulation as these. The only downside is that the outsole and the outsole sides are not one piece and they are glued which would prevent these shoes from lasting more than 6 months since I walk several miles per day, but I only need them for winter anyway. The outsole is also a little too large throwing off the proportions a bit. But it is good value for very good shoes overall.

These vans are durable, will last a very long time. Could do without the leather though-makes them heavy and too stiff for casual wear, but I'm breaking them in. Vans would be smart to not have leather banding. It's not necessary.

Comfortable and perfect! Get a shoe just a bit smaller than your normal size so that the back of the shoe does not slip up and down against your heel.

While I wouldn't trade my Vans in for the world, due to how incredibly comfortable they are, I just want to know. What happened to Vans in the past few years? I remember buying a pair and they lasting me years and years and years before they fell apart and had holes in them, the past few years they have lasted me 1-2 years and that's without the teenage shenanigans. :( I'm very sad because they've also tripled in price.

This shoes are great! However this particular pair seem to run smaller than my other Vans. I suggest going a half size up!

1st, who doesn't want a pair of Vans checkerboard slip-on's! 2nd, the shoe was a little stiff at 1st and took a little breaking in just like any shoe. I have wide feet and these are perfect. Easy on and off. Love Vans.

While these shoes are super stylish, I don't think they are worth the price. I bought the mismatching red/black/white plaid shoes when they were available. They broke down pretty quickly, and everyone knows about the god awful "Vans slip-on stench" that happens about a year later. Socks or not, the stench is inevitable. Never pay over $30 for a pair of Vans off the wall slip-ons. There are much more quality comfortable shoes that last longer and are less smelly.

I bought these shoes for my 14 year old daughter, and she loves them! They do run a little small. We had to exchange the original size we bought for half a size bigger so that she could easily slip them on. Zappos was excellent (as always) in making the exchange!

These really are classic. My Husband said they took a little breaking in. He's very happy with them. Now he's like the guy in the soup commercial - looks like he did 20 years ago. Cool.

My son loves the style, but if worn regularly, they will only hold up for about three/four months. Will still buy again though, because he loves the style.

Comfortable, convenient. May not stand up to everyday use, construction at the seams separates a little to easy. Great for casual summer use.

These remain great shoes. Just a note, they feel about half a size smaller than Converse All Stars. I don't know which shoe is closer to average (it could be that Converse feel half a size bigger than most shoes), which is why I'm noting my size comparison.

These are some really nice looking shoes. The soles are a little hard at first, but once broken in, they fit good. Also, just an fyi for anyone buying the black/black (which look like dark grey on black), the checkered part of the shoe has a shiny look to them. Sorta plastic-y.. Not as “matte” as I’d like… guess it’s the paint? Regardless, still a good looking shoe. Oh there’s also a leather-type liner along the inside heel. Nice touch. Happy shopping!

I was very skeptical of these shoes. They looked great (Spicoli says "Hi"), but prior Chuck Taylor/Converse-style shoes have always killed my feet. But with Zappos' great return policy, I was willing to take a risk. I wanted an everyday shoe that would hold up to walking about 1 mile to and from campus and something that would go with a lot of outfits. These shoes have held up after about 90 days. My feet never get blisters and the back of my heels never get sore. So far so good! The build quality of these shoes could be a little better (I'm thinking they will last 1.5 years at the absolute maximum) and it would be nice to be able to put in your own insole, but overall I'm very happy with these shoes. Also, if you have any questions, @Zappos_Service on Twitter is amazing.

My 10 year old daughter loves these! They are comfortable, cute and more fun to wear than regular tennis shoes. Love Zappos! The service is incomparable.

Vans Classic Slip-Ons worked for me in 1989 as a kid and they\'re just as good now. The heel resists buckling when slipping the shoe on and off, and the elastic remains resilient even when using this shoe as a daily wearer. Even though this is a slip-on, I\'ve walked miles in them at a time and my feet were okay. They don\'t have the same support as a lace up or buckles, but they\'re tight enough to ride a bike in. Expect the white sole to get a little dirty if you wear them in the rain. All in all, a great buy.

Zappos is the best!!! First off Zappos continues to be the best online shopping around. FAST service!!! As far as Vans goes, I've been wearing them in one form or another for 20+ yrs. What I've noticed with my last few pairs is that the once thick outer sole has become slightly thinner. Not to nitpick, but it does alter the look. They end up looking more like girl's Keds. It seems Vans is more popular than ever with lots of silly patterns to boot. Vans should stick to what made them great & not cut down on the details just to crank out masses of new lines. Keep it old school with Vans.

My son loves these shoes - Great shoes for kids although they don't last as long as I'd like. By the time we move up to the next size my sons has worn holes through the tops, sides and backs! Little support but he loves them, they're easy to slip on and off and they look good with jeans.

Great look, moderate comfort - The shoes look wonderful in various casual settings. They're comfortable for ambling about the office/store/house. However, any extended time on your feet/long walks don't lend themselves to these shoes.

Let me start off by saying that I love Vans. I have had countless pairs over the years and own 4 pair currently. They look great, can go with anything and are fairly inexpensive. The only issue I have right now is that the most recent pair I've purchased KILL my Achilles tendon on my left foot. It gets so bad that I almost can't walk. I've never had this problem before and it doesn't happen with the right shoe. It doesn't look like there is anything wrong with the shoe physically but there is definitely something different with the way this particular pair is wearing. Would it stop me from getting another pair? Absolutely not. I'll just give this one a little more time and if nothing changes then I'll return them to Zappos. By the way, I can't say enough good things about Zappos.com. I've ordered a few pairs of shoes on here and have been extremely happy with their service. Everything from shipping time (one time I had a pair of shoes in my hand 13 hours after ordering them without upgrading to overnight shipping!) to returns. They have earned my business for life.

Artwork on shoes - I really like Iron Maiden art, especially Eddie, so to have it on a pair of Vans is a great idea. They are stylish and comfy, although I had to wear them for a few days to break them in. Overall, they're worth it.
