This is almost a great shoe. Except they put zero arch support in this one! Every other arcopedico shoe I've worn has a great arch in it. This one is like a cheap Skechers slip on inside. Flat. I'm sad this didn't work out. I hope they can revise this shoe to add arch support.

I have had about ten different Arcopedico shoes over the past 5 years, most in a size 40, and they're the only shoes I can wear straight out of the box. The Malibu is one of the cutest shoes Arcopedico makes. The arch support isn't as pronounced as the L8 or L19 but it's a lot better than the Milan 2 which seemed to be almost totally flat! The shoe fits a little tighter than the L8 and L19 too, but I believe this is because of the shape of the toe box, which is rounded, more like the Milan 2, instead of being slightly pointed like the L8 or L19. When I bought the Milan 2, I ended up returning it for a larger size which was a mistake - it ended up being too big and I had to compensate by putting in orthotics to fill the space. I am currently wearing the Malibus at home without socks, and they appear to be fitting pretty well. I assume they will stretch a little and then I will be able to wear them with thin socks (which is what I prefer). So while these shoes might fit a 1/4 size smaller than normal, I think they're true to size. Also, I really believe that they are vegan, not leather. I have other Arcopedico shoes that are leather and they're completely different than these.

I ordered this boot a half size larger than my other shoes, because I am familiar with this brand. I replaced the insoles with my own custom orthotic and they are terrifically comfortable. I expect to wear them a lot, especially on an upcoming trip to Ireland, where it rains a lot! They are supposed to be water repellant fabric, but I may spray a silicon layer just to be sure.

I had previously purchased these in my normal Arcopedico size, which is a 40. They felt snug but I felt that they would stretch over time. Fast forward a few months, and they didn't really stretch to the point where I could wear socks in them. So I have been wearing them without socks, which works fine when the weather is warm. I like the style so much I decided to try one size bigger to see if they would work, with socks. And they do! I also inserted a thicker insole for additional comfort and they still fit. The problem with going up a size in Arcopedico is that they can start to swim on your feet. These do not. So my recommendation would be to buy one size up from your normal size. The arch support felt the same as other Arcopedico shoes.

Shoes are cute and comfortable but the sizing is way off. I am a true 91/2 and sized up to a 42 and they are still too small.

I love these boots but they don't work for me. I have a very wide and short foot and although the toe box was definitely roomy enough, the boots are too narrow along the outside mid-foot. That's something I haven't experienced previously. Usually Arcopedico shoes are stretchy and provide room for many different foot shapes, but these have a rigid piece (of plastic?) above the sole that squeezes my foot. What a disappointment. I'm only subtracting one star, however, because I have unusual feet and these boots will probably be great for for most others, especially those who need a roomy toe box.

The EU size 40 does not match the Us Size 9.5. Eu 41 is a U.S. 9.5. Loved these boots but wrong size info too small.

I really liked these but they ran very small (lengthwise) and there was no larger size to get. The width was about right for a Medium. Very soft fabric, nice rounded toe, & not clunky looking. There was some arch support. I was sorry I couldn't wear these due to them running so small!

I had previously returned these in the black color because the toe box shape was inconsistent (one was round and one was squarish) and also they came out with the brown color which I liked better. The brown came with the same toe box shape inconsistencies and they felt even smaller than the black ones, which just barely fit in length. I really wanted to like these, maybe I'll wait a year and order them again to see if they've worked out the kinks.

I usually wear a size 10-10 1/2 but in Arcopedico have to order the 42 (11-11 1/2) to fit. Luckily, they just fit, as that's the largest size they offer! I ordered these in black, the only color they had at the time. They're very comfortable and I love the style. Unfortunately I may be sending them back for a number of reasons: right out of the box the chemical smell was overpowering and lingers a week later. It is lessening so I'm hoping it will diminish completely. The two shoes do not match at the toe box area. The left is round and the right shoe is more squared. After I received my shoes, I saw a question asked of Zappos as to if the shoes were vegan. I thought they were but the Zappos answer was that they didn't appear to be. Dang! Lastly, after I ordered these in black, they have come out with other colors which I like better. Thanks to Zappos excellent return policy, I'm taking my time deciding what to do. Would love to return these and get a different color, but if they smell, are not vegan and have inconsistent shape, then I don't know.

I wear a size 11 and usually size 42 in this brand. I wanted to make these work so badly… Love the color (burgundy) and style and usually the brand is a no brainer for me for comfort. The first time I wore them, the back of my heel hurt as they are too tight. I’m hoping they will stretch a bit and feel more comfortable, but I know this may be unrealistic.

These shoes are a full size smaller than what they are labeled as. I ordered one size larger than my normal size and my right toe was pressed up against the end of the shoe, which was really uncomfortable. I returned them. Despite the incorrect sizing, I am perplexed at the high cost of these shoes. They are very lightweight for a boot, but other than that there is nothing special about them to justify the price. I had such high hopes but was very disappointed.

This shoe was comfortable but after two weeks of sporadic wearing a hole appeared on the side of the shoe. I am very disappointed that this would happen.
