12 M was too wide, need a N width. Style is too sporty/casual for what I'm looking for. Too bad, had to return.

I really wanted to keep these sandals. Unfortunately the strap rubs the bottom of my ankle bone. I think someone with differently shaped foot would love these.

there are pretty on the foot, they have a very soft footbed and at first i thought they'd be the winners but they don't have as much support as I'd like so they are going back. BUT. they are not a bad choice at all.

It's making a weird sound when I walk and the strap is loose too .

Nice sandal but for a 12 ss too loose in the heel. The sandal fit like a B width to me. I had to return.

This sandal might work well for a customer that doesn't have a heel that is more narrow than the front of her foot. I bought the Laguna in size 12 SLIM, however, the straps at the back of the sandal were too loose. The buckled strap doesn't tighten all of the straps in the back. Also, this style didn't look good on me. Wide straps extending over the whole upper foot gives a gladiator look and that with the black color and the flatness of the style made my feet appear even larger. A lighter color might have worked better. In contrast, the Caress sandal I bought in Black has more feminine diagonal straps and a wedge-like heel. These features seem to shorten and widen the look of my feet which is the look I hope to achieve. So I am returning the Laguna and waiting for delivery of the Suntimer in Bone to see how that works. The style and size options are appreciated SAS.

I have a wide foot (D/E), a high arch, and have been going through the sandal section at Zappos for a couple of weeks trying to find something to fit. Thankfully, Zappos has a generous return policy.
The good: The insole of this sandal is cushioned, comfortable, and soft. My foot didn't slip while wearing it. There seems to be some moderate arch support, but not enough for me. The leather is thick, yet soft and pliable. There is a good tread on the bottom of the sandal and I didn't slip while walking across our hardwood floors.
The not-so-good: While marked as a WW, it was quite snug. The top strap hit my toes at an odd place and rubbed while I walked. The length of the buckling strap wasn't proportional to the width of the shoe and I struggled to get it on the first hole (I do have high arches, but I don't have this issue with other shoes). I did get it buckled but it was very tight.

These are beautiful and I am disappointed that they aren't working for me. The leather straps are too stiff and rough with little of the flexibility I want on the mid foot.

I am not happy with this shoe. It doesn't seem very well made. The back ankle strap is too loose and my foot moves around when I walk. In order to tighten the back ankle strap, the stap aross the top of the foot has to be very tight-- that makes it feel uncomfortable.

The SAS Laguna is a lovely shoe and very comfortable. However it appears to run slightly wide. I ordered a AA which I what I've usually worn in shoes, and it was too large in the heel area. It appears I need a AAA but, sadly, it is currently out of stock.

I would use this sandal for summer wear. I like the wide straps and overall quality. The outsole feels like it might be slippery, but it doesn't seem to leave marks on the floor. So far, these sandals feel comfortable right from the box; however, I find the buckled strap very short and skimpy, barely closing. Luckily, it has an elastic! Too short straps are not a good thing, considering that often feet get warm and swell in summer. The leather is likely to stretch over time, so the strap may not always feel too tight. I am happy to know that SAS makes wide widths, as many brands do not. I like the men's fisherman-style sandal, and would like to see it made for women, too!
Men's sandals (and shoes in general) always seem to be more comfortable and practical for action than do women's shoes.

Attractive style, very good cushioned sole. I would have been happier if they had more adjustments, especially over the instep.

The strap going across the top of foot is too short, bearly reaches first notch. This seems unusual since the shoe is a wide width. I feel like it is a design flaw.

I liked these shoes except the buckle was very large and rubbed on the side of my foot when I walked. I would have kept them if the buckle were smaller or velcro.

Normally the size Slim SAS shoes fit my very narrow foot well. However, this sandal had a toe bed strap that was not adjustable, and although the rest of the sandal fit very well, the looseness of the toe strap would pose a problem of allowing my foot to twist on wearing. I am very disappointed, as I had diligently searched for attractive, yet well made and snug fitting active sandals for daily wear. My suggestion would be to make the toe strap adjustable with a buckle or a velcro strap as in other styles of SAS shoes. I have long ago found a good fit in Duo with the toe strap buckles, but wanted a different style that hugged the middle of my foot and more attractively covered its narrow boniness!

These sandals did not fit me well. The left one was okay but I could not tighten the ankle strap enough on the right one to hold my foot in place. I sent them back.

I really wanted to like these sandals. I have owned both the Free Style and the Viva style shoes. The first time I put those shoes on, it was like a piece of Heaven. However, unlike my experience with the shoes, the sandals are just not as soft or as comfortable. (However, as I think about it the last time I considered a SAS Freestyle puchase, I chose a different brand - the comfort just was not there. For the cushioning and impact relief that the Laguna offeres, there are brands that are less expensive and equally comfortable.

These shoes definitely scream "comfort sandal." They do not have velcro on the straps but I found them easy to wear as I think there is elastic on the straps to allow some give. I ended up returning them because they were kind of too "comfort sandaly" and they had a padded back strap that I could feel as I walked that I thought was rubbing a bit. There was no way to adjust the back strap.
Info on my feet in case you want a comparison: I wear a size 7 and have moderately wide feet. I am often in between a medium and wide width and usually just buy medium width. In these shoes I bought a 7M and felt like they were true to size and wide enough.

If you're looking for comfort, this is a great sandal. If style is important to you, I would not recommend this sandal. The style has a clunky feel to it and looked a bit old fashioned.I returned it.
