The SAS Scenic Ballet Flat is the only WW width ballet flat made in the USA that is cut to size with enough support to hug my moderate-high arches. The problems I've always encountered with ballet flats have been fixed: 1) shoe width/outersole too narrow 2) no arch support 3) heel slippage. The shoe is wide enough, has arch support, and never slips against my heel. No bandaids needed! Once in a lifetime shoe!

While these looked cute, once I received them I was extremely disappointed. I realize that these are not support type shoes, but there is no cushioning in the foot bed. It's hard to believe that these are SAS shoes!

These shoes were recommended to me by the Cleveland Clinic. I had a heel spur and could hardly walk. I have told many people how comfortable they are and how to order them. I work retail and these have truly saved my feet

I am talking only about the particular pair of size 7N shoes I received. They do not match. The patent leather cap on the left toe is noticeably larger than the one on the right. I couldn't believe my eyes at first, but there is no question. I measured the two toe caps. The left one is 2" long, the right is 1 3/4.

Fit and size spot on. I am an 8 1/2 to 9 and bought these shoes in an 8 1/2/ Medium. Perfect fit. No arch support but the removable foot bed does have some give, Classic style can be used for evenings or day including special events. My feet have some problems and heels are not a good choice for me.

Thanks for making narrow shoes. The world neglects us.

I have purchased two pairs of the Black Lace in 8.5 Double Wide and I am extremely happy with the fit, comfort, and classic style. Thank you SAS for another wonderful shoe that I will continue to buy again and again!

I have two different size feet. A size 11 is too tight and 1 size 12 too large, even if I change widths. A size 11 1/2 fits well, but my right foot needs a heel insert to fit more properly. These seem to be the only shoes I’ve found that I can adjust the right fit to size both feet, especially a closed-in shoe.. More 11 1/2 sizes are need for women like me. We can’t always wear sling backs to try to get a good fit.
I'd also recommend:

The toe box pressed on my toes. 11N. I am sure an 11.5 would be too big.

I loved these shoes and SO wanted them to be f perfect. However, the left shoe cuts into the top of my foot, right behind the big toe, and I cannot wear them. I am returning them - and doing so rather sadly.

These were a waste of my shoe budget. They constantly squeak when worn with or without socks. I got heel grips to keep them on my foot and that did not help. I believe you would be disappointed as well, they feel cheap for the money.

Nice shoes, fit well but had an issue with making a noise when you walk. I returned and chose another shoe.

One foot is always slightly larger or smaller than the other. SAS shoes fit better than any other brand and are very comfortable.

I have not found any other brand that has the same quality and comfort.

I love the look of these bronze clogs. I plan on asking for these as a gift soon. I would also think that black and putar would look nice.

A VERY nice shoe, true to size for width and length (I ordered 10 C) BUT, the curve of the toe box area comes too far down the foot by the big toe IMHO. It hits/rubs the bone in the foot that leads to the big toe (e.g. it does not hit the big toe, but rubs the "knuckle" bone that is located about a half inch down in the foot behind the toe). If the curve of the shoe box were a little deeper on the inner side of the shoe this would be a "holy grail" selection. The outside curve of the toe box is deep enough not to have toe cleavage and is comfortable. The leather is rich looking and soft for shoe leather--they look like a much more expensive shoe, yet give a very cushioned step. FYI, this is NOT the cheap thin leather that wrinkles upon wearing. Very sad to have to return these. I hope this review helped you somehow.

Over about the last 10 years, nearly all of the shoes I've purchased have been SAS shoes. Unfortunately, the toe box in the SAS Scenic Cap Toe shoe is too shallow for my feet and is very uncomfortable.
I'd also recommend:

Comfortable dressy shoe but not much support. I wear them out to dinner. I don’t think I could stand them as an all day shoe.

Well made shoe. Sizing was right on, but had a spot near my right big toe that was rubbing a bit in the first few minutes of wearing them. So sad I have to return.

These are very cute and look like they would be comfortable but unfortunately they did not fit. They are very narrow (even the medium). I normally wear a size 7 Medium but will need a 7.5 wide. If you do not have very narrow feet you will need a wide and perhaps fo up a half size.
