Cute! I really like these. I work in hotels and travel around the country 100% of the year. I carry with me a pair of running shoes, a pair of flats, a pair of boots and a heel. Each of these has to be good quality. I was in need of new black flats to replace some worn ones. The criteria had to be that they were black leather, had good padding and could go with jeans, leggings or dresses. I chose Scenic and am not disappointed. I wear size 8.5W or WW. These come in WW so I was happy. I slipped these on and they are pretty comfortable. These are my second pair of SAS. I love these because they have no seams inside - all smooth, so no place for rubbing and irritation. I'm 39 and these to me look very simple but high quality and timeless. You can tell the leather is legit. They don't look "geriatric" to me at all, although my mom and grandma would love them too. Some reviewers complained of heel slippage. I have a wide, fatter foot so I am not having that issue, even with the WW. If you do have a narrow heel, these may not be for you or I believe they can be ordered in a narrow. If I didn't travel so much and have such limited room, I'd order the blue color too. I think if you are on the fence, it's worth it to just try these.

This shoe was my first shoe I wore after getting out of a walking boot from a broken ankle. I spent a lot of time researching possible contenders and the SAS flats received consistently positive reviews. I needed something with a sturdy sole, plenty of support for my foot and heel, and that did not look too “orthopedic.” (It is hard to pull of orthopedic and professional work suits.). This flat hit all the marks. It feels as if I am walking on clouds, gives plenty of support, and even looks stylish. I have been wearing these for two months straight and they remain as comfortable as on Day 1. I’m sold!

I got this in a half size down, because I wear a WW and some WW slip off my feet. So I'm typically an 8WW and I got this in a 7.5 WW. It fit perfectly, I just did not like the gold lace style over black. It was a little too senior looking for me. The shoe was VERY comfortable.

I wanted these to fit SO bad. I finally found a ballet flat that had some support in it. I've tried 3 sizes now. I personally think the B width runs a bit narrow, the C & D width are also very wide in the heel cup. I also felt the height on the toe box was shallow. I'm speaking from the bottom of your foot to the top (by your toes). I wish it would have had a dab more room.

Shoes are cute but did not fit me. tried a 5 1/2 to tight now the size 6 is slipping off my feet. Sadly have to return.

I broke my ankle two months ago and just got out of the walking boot. I am trying to start walking again. Trying to find the right shoes that I can wear to the office and with business attire and that protect and support my ankle has been tough — I have spent tons of time researching the various brands out there. Sturdy, supportive, flat shoes are like gold right now. These shoes feel like a dream on my heels, provide ample support, and are really pretty (I bought the black lace outer). These are so comfortable, in fact, that I may continue to wear them long after I am 100%.

Daughter just loves these shoes but 11.5 are too big. We'll have to wait for 11s to be back in stock.

These are cute and comfy! Will order in more colors. Adorable with leggings.

Ordered 8.5W. It just runs very small for me. It felt like an 8M might feel. It is, however a very pretty and well made shoe. Will say, though, that it is called black lace, but looks like black lace over a coppery brown material. It is not pure black.

I LOVE SAS--made in San Antonio Texas, USA! Whoot! These are very cute flats with a subtle gold print over the black leather. Just adorable. They seem like they might slip off my feet if I ran or walked quickly, but I do not intend to do that. Also--the sole of the shoe squeaks like crazy on anything but carpeted floors, so keep that in mind if you might be wearing these to work or walk in lots of buildings with hallways. I am keeping them, however.

The shoe runs small. Otherwise I love it!

These shoes are very cute but unfortunately they don't stay on my feet. But I have a very hard time with any ballet type shoe ~ The only ones that have worked for me are made by Born.

WOW, finally an SAS shoe that is cute and feels almost as good as their lace up styles. I'm a teacher and only wear SAS shoes. So when I saw these I had to try them. I've worn them several times now and love them. Going to get some of the other colors now that I know they work. However they are already of of my size. Cute flat and I love the very thick and padded removable insole. Thanks Zappos and SAS....

First time trying a SAS shoe. Always thought of this brand as being in the "Sensible Shoe" category. The Scenic proved me wrong. It is a lovely classic style with heavenly comfort. I am returning the medium width due to a bunion problem. But I will definitely shop SAS in the future. The leather is soft, the cushioning is excellent. Great workmanship all around.

This pair of shoes is beyond comfortable. I wear a size 9 medium and this shoe is no exception. It may even be a little on the large side. The black leather is beautiful as is the workmanship. My only reservation is the vamp; I wanted a pair of flats with a lower vamp. I received them today and I’ll take the evening to decide. THANK YOU ZAPPOS FOR FAST DELIVERY AND YOUR GOOD CHEER!

These are pretty, simple shoes, easy to wear. Rubber soles, so won’t wear down quickly.

A VERY nice shoe, true to size for width and length (I ordered 10 C) BUT, the curve of the toe box area comes too far down the foot by the big toe IMHO. It hits/rubs the bone in the foot that leads to the big toe (e.g. it does not hit the big toe, but rubs the "knuckle" bone that is located about a half inch down in the foot behind the toe). If the curve of the shoe box were a little deeper on the inner side of the shoe this would be a "holy grail" selection. The outside curve of the toe box is deep enough not to have toe cleavage and is comfortable. The leather is rich looking and soft for shoe leather--they look like a much more expensive shoe, yet give a very cushioned step. FYI, this is NOT the cheap thin leather that wrinkles upon wearing. Very sad to have to return these. I hope this review helped you somehow.

The SAS flat is mostly comfortable, except for the toe box. Unfortunately, it is too flat.

I am returning these cute shoes because the plastic/rubber? sole material makes really loud squeaky noises when walking on tile floor. Probably would on wood or linoleum, too. What a disappointment, since SAS shoes are very comfortable, and these don't look like "old lady" shoes, as some do. Oh, and I ordered the 8 1/2 WW. Width was great, but I would have exchanged for an 8 WW if they weren't noisy.

The length was a tad too long, couldn't keep shoe on my foot.
