I really liked this shoe, but they just did not work for me. The strap across the top was too short (for my foot). This is a common problem for me when shoe shipping. I hoped that by purchasing a half size up that I would get a little more space, but the strap was the same length and the shoe was too big.

These DO NOT run narrow like some of the other reviews said. I know, I have narrow feet and ordered them in the hopes they did run narrow. And I certainly don't need a longer strap like the other reviewers either, I have it pulled as tight as it will pull and would like it to go further. They're pretty shoes, lightweight and all but they are just too wide for me.

I bought three pairs and had the same issue with all three cork pads falling apart and sections lifting from the sandals. At the start, they were the most confortable sandal I have worn, but I hesitate to spend that amount of money again and have the same issue.
I would reconsider repurchasing replace my three pairs if they are replaced with the leather insole that I see online with the newer colors.

Love these shoes so much. However, the thin cork layer peeks away quickly. For the price, this should not happen.

I was so excited about these sandals, but alas, it was not meant to be! They ran really wide on me, so much so that they would have been really sloppy looking, and downright dangerous to try to walk in! But they were just the right length, so I couldn't order smaller. I think they'll work well if you have a wider foot.

Great style and fit but the cork footbed creased uncomfortably under the ball of my foot. With each step, the sole flexed well, but this caused the cork to form a horizontal crease that pinched my foot. It's too bad because the fit was otherwise great and this style is not frumpy like this brand often is.

I love SAS shoes. I have been wearing them for about 7 years. These are cute and pretty much true to size. Unfortunately SAS has put a cork foot bed in them. This is actually a thin layer of cork and after 5 months it is peeling off. Really disappointed with this. I will be returning them as they are way too expensive to have this problem.

I had the same problem as another reviewer--the heel strap is too close in and short, holding my foot well forward of where it ought to be in the shoe. Maybe because I'm large and my ankles aren't skinny? A separate adjustment on the heel strap would solve this. As it was, the position of the heel strap made my foot sit too far toward the toes of the shoe, with room behind my heel and my toes practically coming off the front.

too tight in the strap that goes across the instep. There are people out there with wide and FAT feet

Love these but not wide enough for my high arch. If the elastic that enables strap to come across foot was a half inch longer it would be fine. Disappointing.

I found the SAS Marina peculiarly wide in the forefoot. The foot-bed of the sandal, only in the forefoot, far extended my feet, making the look very unattractive. I have not experienced that with any other sandal. I am returning them. Also note: the white color is a dull white; not bad looking but not a typical bright summer white.

Please change the cork bottom that peels off and make my sandals look awful.I love the sandals but I'm not buying them anymore unless you change the bottom. I will give them a five star when you take care of the problem.

I purchased a black pair last year and I am still enjoying them. My daughter wanted a pair so I purchased her a pair just like mine for her birthday in May. She wears them maybe twice a week to work. I noticed they are already peeling on the foot bed and the side is lifting. This has happened and she hasn't even had them a month. Not a happy mom.
SAS shoes are expensive. I would appreciate some feedback.

I purchased these at the end of the summer to ensure I'd be comfortable for a vacation in the fall. I love how comfortable they are, but after wearing a month, the cork is coming off the shoes. Not sure there will be anything left by the time vacation is over. Pretty expensive to wear for 2 months.

This shoe was very cute but sadly, I had to return it. I returned it because it cause me pain. The slight slope of the shoe may it painful when I was walking. The material into my two rows is what caused me pain. After walking around in them for about 5 mins (or less) it was obviously to me that I couldn’t keep them.

The SAS Marina has a major design flaw for people with wide feet. I ordered the 8W and the shoe fit correctly in all aspects EXCEPT the strap across the foot instep was not long enough to attach to the corresponding Velcro attachment on the outside of my foot, and my instep is not high for an 8 wide foot. The shoes are being returned due to being unwearable.

although I loved the sandal and how comfy they are, I had to return them. The cork liner crack on both sandals underneath the ball of the foot. It was a shame. If they would make the liner in a regular leather, I would repurchase them in a heartbeat

These sandals are one of the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Since I live in Hawaii, I wore them almost everyday for about 5 months before I noticed the interior cork foot lining was cracked in half on both shoes. Not sure how long before that time they actually cracked. Additionally the velcro stopped sticking like it originally did and I am positive it would have stop sticking entirely if I kept them much longer. Thankfully Zappos is taking them back because for about $130 they should have lasted more then 5 months. I just bought the Dazzle I think they will work better because the foot bed is leather and they aren't velcro.

I have worn SAS sandals with the cork footbed for years. For some quirky reason I like the cork look. I bought a Marina sandal in blue and loved them because I found a place to purchase two-toed compression sock to wear with thong sandals. Shortly after that I bought a Marina sandal in black with the cork footbed. As soon as I wore them I noticed the footbed peeling off. HAS SAS OPENED A FACTORY IN MEXICO? WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE SOME OF THESE SANDALS DEFECTIVE?

I loved these sandals for years. When I wanted to replace them I bought the black ones immediately. Wore them once, walked on a wet sidewalk and the new llning started to peel ! I now see that their new lining is on the brown, red, silver and black. Do yourself a favor, don't buy the colors with the linings unless you never go out in the rain, walk through wet grass , accidentally step in a puddle, etc etc etc. My store replaced them but I could not get the black ones. Maybe the new linings are less expensive????

The cork on the bottom is detached right out of the box. The cork on the bottom is also broken in 1 place. Very inconvenient to have to take back. All shoes I wear are from SAS and have never seen such a low quality in one of their products. I was really looking forward to getting these shoes too because I have to have to wear shoes with a strap around my ankle at work.

I initially loved these sandals. BUT, the cork footbed is peeling off and now the shoes look awful. I didn't wear them in the rain or anything. Also, I live in the Northeast, so I really only wear them over a few months during the summer. I'm so disappointed because they are an expensive shoe! The leather and sole are in perfect shape, but the footbed makes them unwearable. I don't plan to buy SAS shoes again, since the company won't allow me to return them or exchange them.

After only one summer of wear, the cork on the footbed is peeling. This is very disappointing given the price I paid for this shoe. I only paid that price because I thought SAS was supposed to be high quality. I will be much more cautious from now on about the expensive prices charged for SAS shoes. Given that other reviewers have reported this problem too, SAS should heavily discount what they charge for this shoe.

I've been buying SAS shoes for decades. I tried this black Marina t-strap sandal with the cork insole. I have not worn them in rainy weather. The cork is puckering and peeling off. I let my shoes "rest" in between use.
