Just not comfortable with overall fit and appearance -- felt old ladyish.

I really appreciated the comfort and support this shoe provided. I like how it stayed on my foot and that there was a velcro strap to help with that. I had been told it felt like a cloud and it really was that comfortable. However, my feet are an odd size and even though it fit in length wise and it didn't slip off my heel it pinched my toes on the side. I would say that is user error more that the shoe error.

I normally order 9M. This was not available, so I tried 8.5 W. While the length was acceptable, the width was surprisingly snug. I suggest ordering wider than your normal size. They also felt very firm under the ball of my foot....not much cushioning there. Dark wine color is a lovely non-black neutral.

The one big problem with this shoe is that the soles wear down very quickly and you start to slip if where you are walking is wet. Went to shoemaker about this and was told they there was nothing he could do. So there is no way anyone could wear these shoes daily for a couple of years and not have issues with the soles

I love the look of these shoes and wish I could keep them; but they are too narrow for me. I will keep the SAS Twin; it's not as attractive but at least I can wear them. Thanks very, very much for carrying size 10-1/2. I can't imagine why other shoemakers don't carry that size as a standard. American women are not small, generally speaking.

I take a narrow width, and I ordered narrow, but this is much narrower than my former mocassin-style slip-on shoe from SAS that I have from a previous purchase. I am not sure I can wear them long enough to break in these 2 new mocassin-type shoes. The soles are much smaller width-wise that before.

I really wanted to like these. I've been wanting to try SAS shoes for years! They are way too narrow, I have narrow feet and a medium was so tight. The toes are also too narrow. Very dissapointed.

I read mixed reviews regarding the fit of this shoe, so decided to try it myself to see. The first pair in my normal size and width were unbelievably small, even though marked as my size. Not sure what made the difference, I ordered a size up and in wide. The size up was too long - slipped off my heel - but the width at least allowed my foot to get in it. But the kicker is the band across the top was STILL too tight. I’m sending back again. I’m very sad that this shoe will not fit my foot. SAS needs to pay attention to these reviews and fix this shoe.

Not a good fit for my foot. I prefer soft-bottom shoes in this season of my life.

I am so very disappointed in Zappo's shoes. First, the right shoe is comfortable, but seems stretched out. The left shoe....tight and DAMAGED!!! Does anyone check these shoes before they are shipped? There is noticeable damage on the platform area of the left shoe. Sending back.

I've been wearing SAS Easier shoes for years, size 5wide (C). The shoe I recently purchased (and returned) was so narrow I couldn't get my foot in the shoe.

What's going on, Zappos? You've been my go-to shoe source for my hard-to-fit feet for years. However, in the last 2 weeks I've received 3 different orders with the wrong shoes in the box or the wrong size. Clearly, something about your process has changed, and it's affecting your reliability.

While these looked cute, once I received them I was extremely disappointed. I realize that these are not support type shoes, but there is no cushioning in the foot bed. It's hard to believe that these are SAS shoes!
Disappointed,

First ordered W, it was too tight; returned and ordered WW, still to tight and much to short. My toes were right up against the top of the shoe.
