The first time I owned a pair of Tretorns I was in the fourth grade. Back then people wore them to play tennis. I wore them through my twenties. And was shocked and happy to see them on the market again. There's stylish They feel like the same shoe but they run a hole size bigger. If you have a wide foot these should be perfect. I have a lot of wiggle room from side to side. I bought them for nostalgia more than anything. They're very comfortable to walk in They have better arch support than they did in the early '80s and they're still a pretty great shoe.

I wore these in previous decades and always loved them. The new version is great! I got my usual 8 and they are perfect in length and width. My width is C-D. These may be too wide for narrow footed gals, but y’all have plenty of cute stuff to choose from. I love that these are basic washable breathable white canvas.

I have 3 pairs of tretorn nylite plus canvas I bought 2 and 3 years ago, all 6.5 and fit like a dream , I bought the pink and white pair in a 6.5 and it’s bulkier and wider so unfortunately I had to return, not a good for for me, if I go down to a 6( which I never really wear in any shoe, I always wear 6.5 or 7) I’m afraid they may be too short. Also the shoe laces are not the normal material, they are a shiny ribbon material

Very disappointing . These shoes are so wide around the heel and ankle that they slip up and down no matter how tight they are tied. Not at all like the old school tretorns. Cheaply made . Weirdly shaped .

I ordered my usual size for athletic shoes and returned for a half size smaller. Length in smaller size length was perfect. Overall the toe box had too much volume and puckered when wearing. The shoes run wide. I returned.

I am absolutely appalled at the garbage that these shoes are. Grew up wearing Tretorns, loved the comfort and durability and am still wearing the last pair I bought before the company went under and reemerged as a cheap knock off of themselves. The soles on this pair feel like plastic. There is no tread or grip and I was slipping around walking on my carpet. The canvas and insoles are chintzy. I don't know how this shoe could be any worse. Even the colors look cheap. (No reflection on Zappos--they are awesome as always!)

Buyer beware for long-time Tretorn fans. The Nylite Plus toe cage is sewn differently and appears more elevated which creates significantly more room in the front of the toe and on the sides. I've ordered my regular size, half size and full size smaller but these just don't fit right. Hope this helps!

I got the 8.5 which is my usual size. I was afraid they might be too tight in the toe box. I have had foot surgery and my right foot “seems” a bit wider. But these fit me perfectly, might be a little wider for someone else, but I would buy another pair..the black ones! Cute on my feet and I love them. I got the white with navy.

My usual shoe width is narrow so most shoes are too wide for me. This shoe was even wider than I expected. I was really hoping this shoe would work. I wore Tretorns when I was a kid and wanted to try them again.

I had high hopes after wearing Tretorns throughout my teenage years - but they are not the same shoe. They fit strangely, had no arch support nor any internal cushion. They are cute, but not well constructed or comfortable. Sad to send them back.

I just received the green with gum soles. I call them my Celtics shoes and look forward to wearing them to a game. Super cute. The green looks a bit darker in person then the pictures on line, but not a deal breaker. These fit like my other Tretorns.

I usually wear a size 9, but these shoes fit better a half size down at 8.5. I love these shoes and have bought a new pair of them every year or so, after the other ones wear out from use. They’re wonderful: comfortable and washable.

I've worn white Tretorn canvas uppers in size 7.5 for 20 years. I just got my new pair today. They are HUGE. My old Tretorns fit like a glove - one of the reasons why I've always ordered them. I will return and try a size 7. Clearly Tretorn has changed their sizing. They are a wonderful sneaker if you can get your correct size.

Love the style of this shoe…looks just like my fav Tretorns from the 90’s…comfort level is a big change. The shoe is no longer highly padded and comfy. The shoes runs large. I bought size 9 and it was much too large.

Received a fake Tretorn. I compared it to the black canvas I bought, this one has an odd fit and design.

I've been wearing Tretorns for years without issue, however these are the worst pair I've ever purchased. I brought them with me on vacation thinking they were like every other pair but no. Very uncomfortable, strangely narrow, the heel was high and caused a blister almost immediately.

This was NOT the Tretorn shoe/quality it was years ago. Very cheaply made and not comfortable. Sent them straight back. Very disappointed. Wish I had read the reviews first because it seems to be the consensus.

I took a chance in spite of the bad reviews, but they are correct: whatever Tretorn did with these, the fit is terrible, they look horrible on the foot, and it's a shame.

These are so comfortable and cute. No breaking-in period, and I can wear them all day. True to size (7.5) A nice comfortable fit - not super snug, and I love that about them. They’re perfect.

Purchased these for my daughter she loves the color and style they fit true to size but she has yet to wear them so can’t comment on comfort.

They are true to size. The green is a very vibrant green. Love it. Very well cushioned. My favorite sneakers.
