As an owner of 3 Monica flats I know how they should fit and these are too small. Also, there are at least 3 flaws on the straps going across the toes. For reference I examined my 3 shoes to see if there were any imperfections that I might have missed and they are still in excellent condition and that's after years of wear. I ordered another pair directly from AGL last week and sent those back due to the metallic finish starting to peel from the cap toe. I am not willing to over-look obvious imperfections with new shoes, especially ones this expensive. Wondering if quality control is not as good with this company as it clearly was in the past. With regard to fit: I made the decision to purchase the Monica flat because my foot issues require soft leather and they fit the bill but these were painfully tight across the top of the shoe.

Based off prior reviews I ordered a 40 instead of my usual 39.5. They were too large. I suggest ordering your regular AGL size. Once you wear these they do stretch. The leather is incredibly soft and comfortable. The pair I received was in perfect condition. They look and fit exactly like my other pairs of AGL Monika’s. If you’re looking for an incredibly comfortable flat, this is your shoe.

After hundreds of tries to find a pair of ballet flats that are comfortable, I finally found AGL Monika! They have a cushioned insole, plenty of toe room, and are comfortable all day. For me, I need a shoe that provides enough 'height' around the big toe (from sole to top of shoe) ... and this shoe provides that so my ingrown big toe nail does not hurt! Now have 3 pairs! Love them!

I do love the shoes but wish I got a half size larger. They are a bit snug.

I was a little disappointed that the toe was so rounded. I've owned a similar AGL ballet flat previously that had a more pointed toe. It was prettier.

I love AGL but the sizing is crazy.

The fit and quality are fine, but the picture does not convey the true color which is a HOT pink. I am keeping the shoes, but very disappointed in the color. Now, I know why they were on sale!!
