Comfortable, looks great, could be wider in toe area.

Little tight on first use. Had to take out the insert to get my foot in. I don't have a wide foot - it's medium. Then i have to lace up my shoe strings to tighten it up after getting my foot in. Plastic shoe horn might help. Jim

Just a little wide in the toe area for me. I do like them overall.

Good looking shoe. Seemed stiff and tight. Maybe because it was waterproof

The shoe is comfortable and feels good. But getting it on can be a challenge as the opening seems small compared to other styles that I have for golf shoes. It's a bit cumbersome.

Not really a wide fit. Had to return. Taking the insole out only really makes the shoe deeper, not really wider. The sides of the toe box are very rigid, which is probably ideal for stability. However, the lack of give keeps the tow box basically the same size. I thought these would have more give than the leather ones. They do not.

too narrow & not comfortable without the insole. ankle cuff was too flimsy, making it too difficult to get the shoe on or off, and it felt like it would tear away from the shoe.

Very good quality, but really narrow. Had to return them, because I couldn't get them on. They do not come in a wide, as far as I know.

Very comfortable - wearing them as everyday shoes, not strictly for golf. Problem is that there's a sharp edge on one of the eyelets that cuts/wears the shoelaces. I level already had to replace the laces twice over just a few weeks time.

They are fine... but not the best. The colors just aren't the best shades of grey/green. It's hard to explain but as I wear them, I'm not loving the color or the way it pairs with all my clothes, which are just normal golf clothes. The main issue is the painted part of the side of sole started wearing off almost instantly, right where my back foot rolls forward when you swing thru the ball. See pic. I otherwise wear these shoes every day to work... I sometimes need more traction on job sites, and I'll pop by a driving range when I have time during the day. The tread on the bottom is holding up well, which is where it's important.

The shoes began go get a stain in each, just above the toe line where the shoe bends. Washed in washing machine then tried hand washing but dirt stains won't clean off. Disappointed to say the least. Now my white shoes look stained and dirty and I will have to replace.

Hard to get your foot into the shoe due to the neoprene like sock. More narrow than normal J&Ms (I have 12 pairs of J&Ms).

I was trying to replace my 4 year old XC4 water proof shoes that had soft soles. I did not realize that these shoes had a hard plastic or rubber sole with built in spike type features. The soles were very stiff and made the shoes uncomfortable. I also feel that the shoes would have been slippery on a wet tile or other hard surface floor.

I have many Johnston Murphy shoes. All seem consistent for sizing (also well-made and comfortable!), but not these golf shoes. I am not a fan of the removable insert as a means of changing widths. These golf shoes are NOT true to any size whether the insert is in or not. And, regardless of using the insole or not, they seem the wrong size. Cannot wear them.

Tried them at the store and felt very comfortable and decided to wear them immediately. At first they felt confortable, however, on second, third wear started to feel them tight. Removed the insole and felt better, however, not as cushioned. The worst thing is that every time I wear them my feet start sweating and it is very uncomfrotable to use them with sweaty feet. My size on dress use is 11.5 and my feet do not sweateven with running shoes. I even bought matching J&M socks but feet sweat even more. I would've bought running shoes even if they are not as nice looking.

I've had these for about two months now. The fabric is already fraying, the color is coming off and some of the detailing on the shoe is already looks well worn. I'm a big fan of Johnston and Murphy, but the definitely dropped the ball with these shoes.

Really like your shoes. The "look" is great! But not wide enough! Tried several different styles and all were too narrow!

They were advertised as wide, but even with the insert out, my feet still hurt when I put them on. Had to return them.

good looking sneaker - does not hold true for the wide fit in the toe box even when taking the insert out.
