I tried on a friend’s pair of similar boots and they were a tad big for size 10s, but this pair are exactly the correct size.

SO FAR SO GOOD. I KEEP BUYING THESE BECAUSE OF THEIR COMFORT. HOWEVER, THEY USUALLY BREAKDOWN OVER THE INSTEP AFTER ABOUT 2 YEARS. HOPE THIS ITERATION WILL LAST. ALSO I USED TO BUY THE SIDE ZIP MODEL AS IT WAS EASY TO GET TROUSERS INSIDE FOR MAXIUM TICK PROTECTION. THERE WAS NEVER ANY PROBLEM WITH THE ZIPPERS. ZIPPERS NEVER LEAKED OR FAILED. WITH THE PROLIFERATION OF TICKS, I THINK THE SIDE ZIP MODELS COULD BE SUCCESSFULY MARKETED. MAKE THEM AN LL BEAN EXCLUSIVE!

I'm glad I made the leap and bought these boots They are fantastic. Great fit. They felt "broken in" from the moment I first tried them on. Waterproof, insulated padded insoles and great traction. I live in an area where mud and snow are an annual thing to deal with. These boots are MORE than up to the challenge. I highly recommend them for any one needing a good pair of "muck boots" They look great too!

I have had my LaCrosse boots for 20 days now. I walk my dogs every morning around 4 miles. I now have gone 80 miles in them. Very comfortable boots. I walk through tall wet grass and cross two creeks every day. These boots a great for what I do.

Great all weather work boot, if mud is a factor. Good traction and comfortable for several hours.

My husband loves his Lacrosse Alphaburly Pro Boots. He wears them year 'round, working on our farm. I usually get him a new pair once a year. He would not have any other boot. Here's hoping they will always be available at L.L. Bean.

Lacrosse makes good stuff and these boots are well-made. I wear a 15 and these fit fine with normal socks. Snug ankle fit keeps them from sliding around. The little buckle broke - I think I caught it on a branch - and I contacted Lacrosse and they sent a new one. Good boot, good customer service.

Love the fit. My husband has large calves but these fit perfectly. Waterproof and easy to put on and take off.

Reading a review here about a "sloppy fit" got me to write. Does the reviewer need to get a smaller size? I love mine, I use them frequently for all kinds of outdoor activity in and around Brunswick, Maine (hunting, coastal hikes, work related). In fact, I'm amazed that a "rubber boot" can fit so well, like a glove! If you get 'em you'll love 'em. They have an excellent reputation and are frequently seen in all the right places.

Comfortable and appear to be long lasting. Time will tell.

I wear these Lacrosse Alphaburly Pro Boots every weekend for about 4 hours per day and many times during the week for dog training. I use and abuse them. They are in water every week and throw them in the back of the truck with no special treatment. They are one of the few size 15 LL Bean even sells for me. I like them a lot. For wearing these boots 500+ hours per year if they last me over a year I'm pleased. The last two pair have lasted 3 years and 2 years plus respectively. Great boot, please keep them in stock.

Nice boot. Need to go up a size. Not comfortable if you have a high instep. A wide option would be nice.

Overall, they're pretty solid boots. My only gripes are: the sole is already ripping out and moves uncomfortably every time I put the boot on; and, they don't breath quite well enough for a spring/summer boot. They do appear to be well made though. And, Lacrosse appears to be a reputable company.

My husband has had two pair of these boots and experienced the same issue with both pair. The way the front is designed, with each step, the boot creases right where there is a seam. Both pair have split along that seam and then they leak. The first pair, we exchanged with no trouble. The second pair, he noticed the leak shortly after the 1- year return period was over. They are a high enough priced boot that I would expect a longer life span than one year. I really believe this is a design flaw as both pair had the same issue with light use. We would not recommend them unless you don't mind replacing them frequently.

I've owned at least 4 pairs of the original alpha burly sports. I wore them for everything from turkey hunting , deer hunting, ice fishing and on job sites. They were comfortable as could be. So naturally when my ABS came apart, it was time to another. I noticed they had changed the boot name, but hoped they had not changed the boot much. After wearing them twice while deer hunting I couldn't stand them. I'm thankful I bought them through Bean for a no hassle return. The boot feels "sloppy" is the only way I can describe it. The original ABS was tight to my foot and ankle , but not too tight. This new style is all over the place.
