I'm a fan of the larger, easier-to-read dive watch style (Captain Willard anyone?) so I wanted a watch that I could beat up a little without worrying too much, but still looked nice, kept good time, could go swimming / hot-tubbing in, etc. and this was the watch. The only two reasons this isn't a 5-star are: 1) the band color on the website makes it look a little more "fabric" like than it appears new; new it almost looks silvery but I expect that to patina over time/use, and 2) the luminosity of the dial is not nearly as bright as on other watches I've owned in this segment, which for a night owl can be a little frustrating. Overall, for the money you'll be hard-pressed to find something better than this in this price range. If you own a Turtle for example or something similar and like that size/style, you'll dig this watch.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I wanted something of a casual look for every day. Only problem is those watches look like you have a building attached to your wrist with all sorts of buttons. I think you can you can even talk to the planet Pluto on a clear day. No thank you.
This one is okay and the band is very comfortable. It has what it supposed to have, 12 numbers, an hour and I'm second hand.

OK, I love the look! But, it is your standard submariner look made by a reputable manufacturer. Add a screw down crown, rubber or stainless bracelet, and improve the virtually nonexistent lume and Timex has watch that will blow off the shelves. It even has a rotating bezel! (But isn't that what a bezel is supposed to do on a dive watch)
