This slipper/shoe is extremely comfortable. I have very wide feet and severe arthritis and I wear them around the house and even outside on occasion. It seems to align to your feet and still provides a lot of support. They probably would be too big if you had a very narrow foot, but for me they’re great. I bought a half size smaller than my regular shoe size.

Right out of the box, I’m super happy with these slippers! I’m sure they’ll stretch, and if my feet were narrow, I probably could size down once more. That being said, An old injury keeps one foot wider than the other, and if I did size down, that foot would be too snug. They’re cuter than I expected, and look like they’d hold up well if I had to run outside with them on. For reference, I wear a 38 Birkenstock Arizona/Boston and 39 in Dansko shoes!

Beautifully constructed shoes. Alas! They are not for those with narrow bony feet because the felt upper was waaaaaay too roomy. Meanwhile the tip of my toes were jammed at the front--due to the contoured footbed, I couldn't slide my feet back a little to give my toes more room. I usually wear 8.5. So might be perfect for someone who is Size 8 with wider feet.

The reviews were spot on for these slippers. I have a 10.5 wide foot and these are about perfect for me. I probably could have gone up a half size and they still would have worked. If you have a standard or narrow foot these will not work for you. I will have nice warm feet this winter!

Haflinger is the best brand for me. I can count on them being comfortable.

The length is true to size, but as other reviewers mention, this is a wider shoe. Definitely NOT for those with narrow feet! Since I'm familiar with Haflinger sizing, this was expected and I'm very happy with the fit. The arch support is perfect, as well, not too high or too low. These are replacing a pair of older "nubby" wool Haflingers I currently own - and were purchased at a nice discount.

Lighter than my old Haflinger clogs

This is my third pair of Haflingers, I wanted pure black without frills to take on travels. The piece of elastic on the top made them very sloppy wide and I stuffed inserts and foam into them to help. I was recently in Germany, where I was able to buy inserts that fix perfectly and added enough inside height they are no long loose! I cannot go barefoot so these are my indoor shoes.

Great for slippers but they run very large — you’ll want to order a size down.

Very comfortable, well made clog. Length was good in my usual size, but the shoes were too wide. I added an insole on top of the one in the shoe and the fit was much better. The shoe has good support including good arch support.

I like the style of these and hope a smaller pair will fit perfectly. I have been wearing Haflingers for 8-10 years and love them. This is the first pair I've had to return. I'm buying a smaller pair with fingers crossed they will fit better.

Love the sole. Love the look. Do not like the looseness; way too loose, even with thick socks, and, I ordered half-size down.

Sigh. My quest for the perfect slipper continues. The Haflinger Visby really is an exquisite slipper. The quality is evident in the materials and thoughtful construction, and they ought to feel great. But they are flat-out enormous. I wear a 5.5 (ordered the 5 in these). My feet are small, but pretty flat, and in some shoes (like New Balance), a wide width is perfect. But these babies are flopping around on my feet, and there's easily a 3/4" gap at the heel. I had such high hopes that they would work out. Things have not been the same since the unfortunate redesign of the Sorel Nakiska Slide, which for years was my go-to slipper. Glerups also didn't work for me. With a heavy heart, these Haflingers will have to be returned unless I'm prepared to court major foot problems. Not recommended at all for narrow or even medium width feet.

Haflingers always seems to run large however I wish I could buy the larger for right foot and smaller for left!

I had to take these to a shoe repair shop to remove the elastic over the arch and replace with non stretching material and close the gap where the elastic was.
