Love these! I don't agree with the other reviewer complaining about no arch support--these have more arch support than their other style slippers with open heels, though not as much as the leather clogs with cork soles--which is the point. These are more slippers than shoes & have a lot of room for the foot, but still soft & supportive sole. The crepe sole makes them OK for light outdoor wear, but intent is for "indoor/house shoes". Super comfy out of the box--though a tad small for 37--not surprised as some styles of Haflinger I have needed 38 (I've worn many styles of wool or leather Haflingers for many years, sometimes 37 are perfect, sometimes 38s...). Love that they have a little elastic cord so you can adjust the opening & fit over the foot--these are not meant as slide-on shoes, as you do need to pull them on with help of the generous sized loop (easy to get a finger thru). And once on, you may not want to take them off!

Not your typical Haflinger slipper with arch support, which was very disappointing. I need sturdy arch support and what I found in this style was a flat insole and a flimsy insert that lacked any real structure. The outer sole and top were nice as other Haflinger slippers, but the support wasn’t there and had to go back. The search continues.

These do EXACTLY what I need them to do:keep my tootsies warm, and offer a decent amount of support. In order to be more comfy- I MUST wear socks, as the wool is a bit itchy. They’re not “cute” -then again, I’m not trying to impress anyone with my swag slippers. They’re sensible, warm, and they are waterproof on the bottom- and I love them.

The wool was all piled up right from the box! Ugh. They appeared like they were already used and reused. The heel in back came up too high on the ankle and made the fit uncomfortable slipping as well. I was really looking forward to this product. I was very disappointed. I must return.

Slipper makers really should make half sizes! I've loved my Haflinger scuffs over the year but wanted something with more support/structure. The 7s were just a tad too short but my heels were slipping up at the back. in 8s the length would have been good, but my heels would definitely have been slipping up and they were not in stock, anyway. Too bad, because these are quality slippers.

I'm a 7.5 and the 7 did fit fine. The tan is a very nice taupe color and the design is nice, but overall I returned them for a couple reasons. They felt wider than I wanted, but a cozy sock could remedy that for someone. But MOSTLY, when I wore them with no socks (which is my preference) the heal slipped with each step and is very distracting. I wish they were narrower and fit more snug with no slipping because I did like them.

The heel is too wide so it slips up and down - even with socks on. Otherwise comfortable. Not going to win any points from the runway, but very functional. Wasn’t as itch as I though they would be.

rubbed toes

This is a unisex slipper, could have been made clearer on Zappo's website. Was very wide, even for someone like me with a wide foot-- but a narrow heel. Was swimming in the width of the slipper, and slipping in heel area. Not a slipper that seems to be designed for most women's feet.

My usual shoe size is 10 1/2. These slippers in size 10 was way too large and long for me to wear. It seemed a full shoe size larger.
