I really like the color and style. I would suggest going up half a size.

So far, so good! Comfortable, stylish, and functional. I haven’t had a fresh pair of Timberland boots in a while, so I figured why not give them a try. These offer the following specs: - Ortholite® footbed. - 3" heel; 3/4" platform (size 8.5); 5" shaft. - Lace-up style. - Leather upper/ReBOTL recycled-polyester lining/rubber sole. They arrived on time and were wrapped up very nicely in the original box as expected. Sizing is true to fit. I wear a 8.5 in tennis shoes and tend to prefer a 9 in most heels. I ordered an 8.5 since these are a mix between tennis shoes and heels and they fit perfectly even with a thick pair of socks as pictured. The materials seem to be quality but sustainable, breathable, and light weight. The height of the heel is perfect and accentuates the legs while the sole of the shoe offers a sturdy and supportive boot that can be dressed up or down. I like the rubber sole and feel that it will offer grip on many types of surfaces. As for the olive green… it is exactly as shown but not quite as brown in my opinion. It has been hard trying to find outfits to match precisely with the color of the boots. However, I managed to find a few pieces to match this exact color and if all else fails, the boots will still look good with a range of other colors, including black. Based on this purchase, I am planning on buying these in another color as well and would recommend these boots to my friends.

This shoe is fly. It give a little rugged with a nice almond-ish toe and you can never go wrong with Cheese colored Tims. However the fit of the shoe did not work for me. The collar of the boot stuck out in the back which left a gap in the back and forced my ankle back some which was not comfortable. Not to mention you couldn't get them tight enough to eliminate the gap. So, I had to return them.

These are more flattering online than in/on-person, and the leather is a horrible quality - it’s extremely stiff. I can’t imagine how long they would take to break in, if ever! I purchased leather Timberland boots several years ago (the Marge), and they were fantastic. These are a miss. Also, if you do get them, do not size up - they probably run true to size (I sized up half a size to an 8 from 7.5, as recommended, and they were too big).
