Per the manufacturer’s box Size 42 is a US 11. Website had a EU Size 42 shown as a Size 10.

The gaps in the top by the laces was like nothing I have ever seen. As you walk and bend your foot, it gapped open a full inch blown out to the side with each step. Very odd. No way I was going to be able to wear those. I guess it was because the material is vegan, and not leather and didn't conform to the foot? Either way, not for me.
