These shoes were super cute but the Velcro top had no give. It felt like when they were designed they didn't account for putting your foot in them, so ultimately when the straps folded over they didn't fully cover the bottom velcro. I worried this would make the shoes show their wear very quickly so I returned. The only solution was pulling the Velcro very tight which ultimately made them very tight on the top of my foot. For me I need a little give in the top of my shoe to be comfortable. I exchanged for a lace pair which I find very comfortable.

I have a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and was not optimistic about these, but I loved the look and the convenience of the Velcro. I first ordered them in a 10 since a number of people said to size down. That was not the case for me. I wear a 10.5 in ON Cloud and 10.5-11 in Asics. These were snug in a 10 so I ordered an 11. Much better fit and surprisingly comfortable for me even with no arch support. Not overly heavy either. I tried them with both lightweight and medium no show socks and the medium worked best. I don't know if I could wear them for a day of sightseeing in Europe, but they are comfortable enough for errands and cute for going out. Someone said they thought these made their feet look huge, which is always an issue for me. I was pleasantly surprised that they don't.

I typically wear a 8.5 so ordered a 40 since that is what they say is an 8.5 in these shoes. (In my experience a 40 is closer to a 9.) They were too big. Am returning them. In the meantime I ordered a pair of Veja Recife in a 39 in the white/slate colorway and they fit great so am keeping those. Can't wait to start wearing them. The fit is good. I have wide feet and they are wide enough. The arch support is not fantastic, but I don't intend to walk for miles and miles in them so am anticipating that aspect will be ok. The leather and construction appear great.

I had returned the 39 and exchanged for a 40. I am an 8.5 US. Unfortunately the 39 and 40 was too big - bummer. It goes back :/

Beautiful shoes. However they did not fit. I will have to return them.

Been looking at this style for a long time and finally took the plunge. Very disappointed! It looks nice in all fairness but very uncomfortable. No arch support at all, some people may like this flat shoes feel but I don’t. So sorry to send it back

I dont understand the hype with Veja. the shoes are rocking hard. they look decent but unbreable to walk in. I took a walk from the living to the bed room and decided to return.

I love how they look but I returned them because I didn't not like the way they felt on my feet. It felt as if my heel was a lot lower than the rest of my foot. Thus I thought my heel would absorb a lot of the shock with longer walking and hurt.

I ordered my true size and found the shoes were at least 1 size too large for me and the width was huge! I will be returning the shoes and will not try Velcro closures in the future.

Was very excited to receive these but when the velcro straps are closed they do not go all the way across the shoe and each strap ended in a different spot across the foot which looked like I had messily tried to wear someone else's shoes. Cute in pictures without feet in the shoes, but just not cute in reality.

I vary between an 8.5 and a 9 so I tried both sizes. 8.5 was too tight, but the 9 was too long in the toe box. The worst thing about these is the stiff tongue that cuts into your ankle. For being an expensive shoe I expected them to be more luxe- they are very cute but the velcro straps felt a bit cheap.

I was so excited for these. I have wanted them for a long time and finally purchased. Loved the overall simplistic style, the hook and loop closure was attractive, and the removable insole was perfect. However, when trying on, I thought they might be a little big. I'm a true size 7 in sneakers but these felt about a 7.5. They looked super wide and bulky on my feet and not very flattering. I was hoping for a nice sleek sneaker and unfortunately these weren’t it. Maybe a different style would be better.
