These jeans fit well, look good and are comfortable to wear. But I bought another pair of Lee jeans at an outlet mall in exactly the same cut and style, even the same product number and the fit was different. Strange.

I bought a pair of the classic fit jeans at a store some years ago and found myself going back to this particular pair of jeans over and over because I loved the fit. So I went online and ordered them directly from Lee. The fit is a bit different from the older pair, but still comfortable for me. I especially like that the "stretch" is well proportioned with the cotton so there is some drape instead of hugging every bump. And they wear like iron!

The jeans are great - perfect fit - length is good - look great. The caveat is that the front pockets are cut short. I put car keys, ID, cash, my I Phone all in my pockets - usually. I don't with these jeans. If you don't care about this, you'll LOVE the jeans.

These jeans hug my curves perfectly and even accentuate them in a positive way. I have tried a number of different brands but this brand and style is by far the best!

I have searched all over for jeans that actually fit at the waist! I'm 5'4 & cannot wear petit but because theses come in short, an 8S fit perfectly. Bought 3 pairs & woul definitely recommend.

All the jeans fit great in my size. But chocolate, parchment and cinnamon are 98% cotton. NOT stretch denim. You need to go up a size.

Kind of tired of the inconsistency of the fit. I guess it depends are where the jeans are made. Bring Lee manufacturing back to the United States where it belongs!

I have several pair of the Classic Fit Monroe in different colors and have made the following observation: if made in Mexico-consistent, great fit; if made in Kenya-consistent, great fit; if made in Cambodia-extremely tight fit comparable to a skinny jean (color was Seattle). I still like Lee jeans, but there is a real issue with sizing.

It's silly to say that these are a great fit and expect that others could get some use from that statement. Fit is very personal. I will say that I am 108 lbs., 5'4" , 26" waist, 37" hips. The rise was perfect right at the waist as stated in description. Length is also relative depending on heel size worn and where you want hem to fall. The Monroe fits me great through hip and thigh but gaps at waist a bit. I always have this problem though, so I just take two small tucks with sewing machine. The bigger issue I wanted to convey to others is the color: I couldn't tell from the picture any difference from Heritage and Horizon so I bought both. Heritage is a "blacker" blue than Horizon which is a very dark but vibrant jeans blue. As you can see from the photo, Heritage has a much lighter topstitching thread also. Both are very nice, just depends on what you're looking for. Also, one more comment on the color and fabric. Always wash inside out on gentle cycle so there is as little abrasion as possible to the outside color, and dry on low heat for minimal amount of time. I always used to dry jeans on hot cycle because it took the denim forever to dry. not so anymore as very seldom will you find a pr. made of 100% cotton. High heat can actually melt or break down the spandex which causes the puckering. Hope this was helpful.

I have worn Lee jeans in Size 8 for many years. My old jeans still fit great, but when I ordered these in a size 8 they were way too big. I could take them off without even unbuttoning or unzipping them. I exchanged for a size 6 and the fit is okay. These jeans are much stretchier than I expected, and I would have preferred normal denim. The "Horizon" color looks like black on my monitor, but is really a nice dark blue. Size 6 or 8 in Long length, in an at-the-waist style, is really hard to find and I am very appreciative that Lee offers this option.

I own 6 pair of these jeans - three in typical denim, and three in colors. The whipped latte and chocolate color are a great khaki pant for a casual office. Nice quality, nice fit, nice wear. I am 5'4", 195 lbs and wear a 14 short.

Fit was a perfect Lee fit - 14 short -. Has some stretch, but didn't relax to "baggy" just to "comfort".

These are great for knocking around and good for times when you have to have some 'give' in the fabric. My preference is a fit at the waist without the old relaxed look and this leg style is more in line with my wishes. But I'd still like an at-the-waist fit with a slimmer leg opening made in the old heavy weight denim of 20 years ago. It was great to hold in the abdomen and jeans with even a little spandex are flimsy material for jeans.

There are so many options of style and color and length, why not make some options that are 100% cotton, even 99% cotton, so that they don't completely stretch out an hour after you put them on?! I'm constantly pulling them up. Like, what's with the polyester? I've worn Lee jeans for many years. It seems like every year the quality gets worse. I need the jeans that are at the waist and now you're saying that you made them better by shortening the zipper and making them lower. Why? You already have a style that is just below the waist so why are you changing the ones that are at the waist to ones that are just below the waist. To me that means that you no longer make jeans that fit at the waist. obviously people who buy that style at the waist need their jeans to fit at the waist so you're basically eliminating that option. Please bring back some nice cotton jeans.

I have bought several pairs of these jeans in various colors for the last several years. I was very disappointed to find the pockets are now so small I can't even put my keys in them. Women want pockets, that is why we buy jeans. If I wanted them so tight that the pockets were an issue I would get skinny jeans. I like that there are short options for length, I like the fit to be at the waist, where they don't slide down, nor create muffin top.

I ordered these jeans in my usual size, and while they are nice and lightweight for hot weather, the material is WAY too stretchy and gets all loose and baggy by the end of the day. They are very comfortable, but don't look as flattering as the old Classic Jeans you used to sell. The old jeans material had body and held it's shape and made one look thinner because they "held everything in" and had a very smooth, slimming effect. These do just the opposite -- they do nothing to enhance your shape because they are just too stretchy. I would sacrifice a little bit of the comfort for a firmer, more figure-enhancing fit. I ordered the next smaller size and it is much better; however, I would not wear these jeans with a top tucked in, as they do not have that smooth look over the hips and thighs as the old jeans did, because of the thin, stretchy material. I would only wear them with the top out or with a blazer or sweater. I am over 55, but I do not look or dress like an "old lady," and I don't want my jeans to look like the polyester elastic-waist pants that they sell for old people! I still have a fairly good figure for my age and don't want something that makes me look worse instead of enhancing what I have. After all, if one is over 30, we need all the help we can get! If you do order these jeans, order a size SMALLER than you normally wear in Lee jeans or they will be swimming on you after a few hours. I am tall (5'10") and this is one reason I always order Lee Jeans, as they have the length I require, and this is still the case, but I wish they would bring back the less stretchy classic jean -- they were the best! I see many other reviewers have expressed this opinion, so get with it, Lee, before you lose a lot of loyal customers!!!!

Have worn a size 4 for years. Now the size 4 is a bit large so I end up taking them in on the thigh portion! Otherwise they're really baggy! My biggest complaint is the size 4 in black is never available in a M or L length!

Do yourself a favor, get a size smaller. this is that jean that gets bigger the longer you wear them. To late to send them back. I washed them thinking they would shrink a little. I like the jeans, they are just huge.

these are my absolute favorite jeans -- in three of the colors, but not in the fourth. I order 18L and LOVE the inseam length, plenty of room in the rear, snug on the tush but not tight on my larger legs. black cat shine and a couple of the blues are my go-to jeans. the mulberry browns, however, are not brown -- more like an earthy purple -- and the inseam on the 18L was only 32.5" -- other 18L's are 34". I'll be back for more of the others, just hope they can make sizing more uniform.

These have the shape and length just perfect. They definitely sit at the waist (if not higher). I haven't worn pants this high since the 80s. They are stretchy, which makes them comfortable, but they don't have the give in the waistband that Lee comfort waist has. Also, the Poly/Spandex blend does not breathe as well as traditional cotton making these pants feel warmer.

I am 5'5", weigh 142 lbs and ordered a size 6 medium. I could have ordered a size 4 because this fabric has a lot of stretch but they aren't completely baggy so I am keeping them. They'll be great on the bloating days. Length is good. The only thing that I can say that I don't like is the fabric. I am a jean purist. I buy jeans because I want real jeans. These jeans are lightweight which you might like in the summer just doesn't appeal to me.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, bring back FITS AT THE WAIST. Not every woman wasnts their jeans pulling down on their stomach and constanly pulling them up all day. I just finished taking all my jeans in at the waist so they will fit.

Really like Lee jeans and being able to get the short length...fit is always great. The Monroe jeans fit nicely, as expected, but Black is a lint magnet, so the 4 stars on overall rating. Getting lighter color. The lower leg is more of a boot cut, flared a little--thought these were supposed to be straight leg.
