I should have trusted the comments left by others regarding the "new" jean style. These are not the same Lee Relaxed fit jeans I've been wearing for years. I was looking to get a colored "jean" I could wear to work and was disappointed once the package arrived. These are not a denim jean, more of a stretchy, shiny, cotton cloth pant. The "new" style is also big in the waist and tight through the thigh and calf. Certainly not relaxed as advertised. These are packaged and ready for return. I may try the new "new" relaxed fit jean in the spring but only if the reviews are positive!

I bought the same size I've always bought and they're extremely loose in the waist and must be pulled up constantly, plus they don't have the denim feel. PLEASE bring back the original version!

I live in my Lees jeans. They are my favorite and I usually buy 2 or three pairs at a time. I ordered the new design and detest would be a mild way to describe the new fit and feel. I always wash my pants before wearing so I can't return the 2 pairs that I bought. They are going straight to my charity donation box. Please bring the old style back, I'm almost desperate enough to rip apart a worn pair to use as a pattern and make my own

Really disappointed. Have worn for years. Could know they would fit. Not now! Legs tight, waist bags/gaps. Back pockets too low. Fabric flimsy. Agree with many of these reviews. Will try 1 pair in the spring to see if you really bringing back the old styles

I've bought the same style and size of these for years and was greatly disappointed. I wish I would have seen all these reviews first before I bought this last pair. They felt really uncomfortable and bagged out after wearing for less than a day. Terrible!!! It looked like they had a high cotton content, but they sure didn't feel like it. I can't wait until spring of 2017 for a new pair; I'll have to shop around and hope to find something that works. I'll come back to the fold if they actually bring back the old fabric.

I too am a fan of the original Lee Relaxed Fit Jeans. I tried the "new" relaxed fit...unsure what to order because the color names were different. When I received the jeans, the material was different and did not fit at all. I tried to order a second time, had same experience. Sadly, I have been unsuccessful trying to find a brand of jeans that had the same fit and feel that I liked with the Original Lee Relaxed Fit.

I have been wearing Lee Jeans for years. I was time to get some new jeans and when I ordered them I was extremely disappointed when they arrived. The feel tight in the legs, loose in the waist, and they won't stay up! The back is lower and I always feel like I'm exposed... I hate these jeans! Unfortunately I didn't even try them on right away because I had faith they were my faithful Lee Jeans. Now it's too late to return them. I went shopping in the stores to find them and I can't find anything but the same thing that I got on line. I will not buy Lee's again if this is my only choice. The fabric is very light weight also. Not what I would call "denim".

This new style is HORRIBLE and TOO LOOSE that last only a hour before i had to keep pulling them up that i had to change into my good old original Lee Jeans that's still great fit after two years. Who decided to change the style? Should have been fired! Bring back the Original Relaxed Lee Jeans and leave it ALONE!!! When the Original Relaxed Lee Jeans return then I will be buying in brunch this time. Glad I had done it last year that I still have those jeans to last.

Please bring back the old jeans. Why would you jump on the "stretchy jean" band wagon? They are hot, clingy and uncomfortable. Wish I had known about the change, I would have stocked up on the "Good" jeans...

I hate the new "formula" for these jeans. They used to be my "go to" and the only pair of jeans that I would buy. I am down to my last pair and the search is on to try and find a replacement. Sorry, Lee. No more purchases for me.

I have worn those same jeans for over 20 years!! They fit perfect! One lady saw all my jeans and could not believe it!! Now the fabric has changed and the fit is horrible! I ordered a pair I have bought the many pairs from different stores! Lee please bring back our jeans!

There doesn't seem to be any consistency any more. I can try on the same size and color and they fit completely differently. The material seems cheap and they don't hold their shape very well. Please Lee bring back the old jeans!

Why did you change them!? Their was nothing wrong with the other jeans. These do not fit good. I wish I knew you were changing them, I would have ordered 5 pair. Can't find jeans to fit me properly anymore. Please listen to your costumers.

You changed the material in the jeans and I don't like it. Why does everything have to fit you like and second skin and after wearing it awhile it is stretched so it is too big. I have worn your jeans for over 40 years and now I'm looking elsewhere. The quality is bad so bring back the originals.

I'm with everyone else on this, the new updated style is horrible! They are way too stretchy. After wearing them for 1/2 an hour they feel 2 sizes bigger than when you put them on. If anyone has found a replacement brand they love please share! I'm searching for a new brand!

I've loved Lee jeans for YEARS. Excellent fit, good quality, good value. I purchased the "updated" jeans and thought I gained much weight. They were tight, slid down in back and were uncomfortable. I agree with so many of the reviews that the original style of relaxed fit, straight leg were superior to the ones manufactured now. PLEASE go back to the original fit. If you want to introduce another "style", do that, but don't "update" my old favorites to something I no longer recognize.

If you have bought these in the past, and liked them, DO NOT BUY THESE NOW!!!
I hope that Lee is reading these reviews. These jeans are the same items number, but are tagges as "updated styling" - which means that they fit COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY than what you were used to. They are very tight in the thighs, and big at the waist, so that they don't stay up, they look terrible, they are too stretchy, etc. etc.
I am SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CHANGE in styling - and so are my friends. We had always bought a number of pairs of this style every year; I have about 50 pairs of the previous version, in various colors and sizes.
Now, I WILL NO LONGER BE BUYING THESE.
Chadwicks jeans have always fit me, so I guess I will be switching my purchases to Chadwicks.
What was LEE thinking when they "updated" this style? Now they fit like the hundreds of other styles out there, which are completely wrong for women who have an hourglass shape, which is MANY of us!!!!

Stretchy clothes make you FAT. Please bring back your old style with more cotton and less lycra.

Must constantly pull them back up. Can't walk around without needing to tug them back up. Very stretchy. Not the cotton/poly jeans of the past nor the cotton jeans we all prefer. Just an all around terrible fit. I am a 58 year mature woman. Wear a size 18 , 5 foot 7, These size 18 jeans were just horrible, constantly hiking them back up where they belong. If you don't the crotch is long and baggy and awfully uncomfortable. Been wearing Lee jeans for over 35 years now. They gotta be more responsible with their redesigns. Don't kill a good product when you have happy satisfied customers. Bring back the "good ole jeans"

I have been wearing the "old style" of these jeans for over 20 years, working in them daily. Now, the fit is bad, the stretch gets baggy within a few hours, and the polyester in them makes them hot to wear. Last year I was able to find 4 pair in my size at an aftermarket place online, but now can't find them!! WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE THESE JEANS WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE WERE BUYING WHAT YOU HAD??? I don't know what I'm going to wear now, but it won't be Lee's as long as this is what you offer.

These are no longer RELAXED FIT or STRAIGHT LEG. I see they are no longer the best seller. HATE them.

Just leave a good pair of jeans alone! for years I just reordered these. The last 2 pairs are tight in the thighs and gap in the back at the waist. Hate these and paid a lot for them. Never again!!

DO NOT like the new fit. thighs are tight and the waist constantly needs to be pulled up. I've purchased these jeans for MANY years due to the fact that they were the only jeans that fit my shape comfortably. BOO to Lee for ruining a good thing for us girls who are large in the seat and small at the waist.

PLEASE bring back the old relaxed fit at the waist jeans with only 1% lycra. I am down to one pair of jeans and can't find any others that fit. From the number of similar reviews it is obvious that they would sell. Not everyone is built for the new styles, and they are not practical.

The tag says, "at the waist" but it actually fits way below the waist, especially in the back so that my underwear shows every time I bend over. It also stretches so much, so quickly, that it sags below the butt and feels like it's falling off. I'm constantly grabbing the belt loops and pulling them up in the back. Maybe the kids these days want to show off their underwear but I'm not a kid, so I want my underwear to stay under what I'm wearing. I'll not be buying any more and will donate the latest pair to a charity because they are too uncomfortable to wear. Very disappointed.
