I too am so disappointed in you changing the comfortable cotton jeans into the spandex. Let those who love spandex buy it, but let me have my cotton ones back. I HATE the spandex. If you don't bring them back, I will have to begin a search for my new favorite jeans. I buy at least six pairs a year. I LOVE the cotton without the spandex. Please, please, give me back my jeans!!

I have been so disappointed in the fabric of the jeans. I have been a Lee Jeans fan for years and they have always been my favorites until the 'stretch' fabrics replaced my reliable cotton, wear forever, and fit wonderfully, denim jeans. I will be looking for another brand that is full cotton denim. I work outside most of the time and I need durable, fitting jeans that endure weather and sometimes not so pleasant conditions. Stretch just stretches out by the end of the day! Not user friendly!

The other reviews warned that the fabric had changed and even the black fabric that is more cotton is way too stretchy. They fit ok everywhere except the waist which is just a little too big. I'm afraid as the weather gets hotter they will be uncomfortable. I really prefer more cotton as it breaths better when it gets above 95 degrees. I hope you go back to the old fabric that was 99% Cotton and 1% Spandex/Lycra

I do not like the new cotton blend of fabric for this jean. Please bring back the old jean...fits much better and more comfortable. Do not care for the stretch fabric.

I have a favorite old pair of jean. I thought I found a pair that was the same. Same name, same look, same everything. BUT I am very disapointed that they are not made of the same fabric. TOOOO much stretch!!!! Please go back to the old way of making these jeans.

Both size 16 & size 18 were exactly the same, I don't know if one was labeled incorrectly or what. I ordered both sizes because I didn't know exactly which size would fit best.

I hate the stretch jeans too. I, like the other comments stated, loved to wear the 99% cotton jeans. The stretch fabric does not fit or feel as good as the cotton jeans. Please bring back the 99% cotton jeans. That's what jeans are supposed to feel like......denim, not some stretchy stuff! Thanks.

Was expecting 100% cotton jeans like I've always purchased from JC Penney. Was disappointed when they arrived and were stretch material, but wouldn't send them back as I was leaving on a trip and needed jeans to wear.

Why did you change these jeans. The old ones had just enough stretch and the new ones have too much. The new ones are trying to compete with slender secret and they shouldn't have to. The extra stretch has made them unflaterring in the leg area and make me look larger than the other ones did because they are so tight and bunch so badly. PLEASE bring back the originals or I will have to go elsewhere for jeans

I've been in every store and have tried on a bazillion jeans, none of which were the right fit. This style of Lee is the only jean that fit (past tense) perfectly BUT.....now I get it! You HAVE changed it (based on other reviews)...and it's NOT near as good as the previous jean that fits like a glove! WHY oh WHY did you change it????

I love the fit of these jeans but the black jeans are 3 inches shorter than the same size blue jeans I bought here.

What happened to my favorite jeans? The newer ones are okay, but I like my last years pair so much better. Too much stretch in the new ones and they don't feel like my favorite jeans. Sorry

I actually ordered 2 pr black and dark. The black fit okay but the dark denim was uncomfortable. This was my second pair of the dark color. Both of them seemed to be too small. Snug fit but not looser relaxed as they should be.

I've decided to keep these and give them a try. But I sure like the old 99% cotton ones better. Come on, Lee, if you want to create a new jean, fine, but give it a new number and don't take away our old favorites. Fit is too snug, fabric different.

These jeans fit great, look great! The only downside is the fabric - I preferred these jeans when they were cotton. They were ok with cotton/spandex. Much less desirable is the cotton/poly/spandex blend. A great jean has been downgraded.

They are the best jeans I have ever tried....the W besides the size means that they will be larger than a simple Misses 18...I received an order that said 18W when I ordered a simple 18. i had to send them back. So watch where and if the jeans have the W on them. Otherwise they stay the same fit as when you put them on. Finally a jean that does not bag out!!!! thank you. Booboo59

I have a few pairs of the older jeans and I'm sure that your newer fabric will hold its shape better. But I have to complain about the length. Too short. 35 inches would be better for your standard tall. That is Eddie Bauer's length and I prefer them for dressing up because of that.

I have worn Lee jeans every day for YEARS, but now the fabric is thinner and the fit doesn't work as well. I'm disappointed, and will now have to find a new place to get my everyday pants.

I am a Lee Jean Fan. They are the only really comfortable, well fitting jean I have ever found . And although these were very nice I would like just a bit more of a relaxed fit than these. I returned them and will try the next larger size. I am 5' 9" 160 lbs. and over 55. I ordered my usual size, 8 Long, but I'll try the next larger size, 10 Long.

I found these in the store today. I am not sure I ike them now that they are in my closet. I will probably take them back. The only think I do like is the color of the stretch denim. I really do prefer the non stretch jeans.

I have been wearing these jeans (Lee's relaxed fit straight leg) for years and loved them. But the fit and fabric have changed, and they are not the same jeans! I can't believe they have changed the fit and the fabric (more spandex and polyester and less cotton). I will be looking for another jean. Fortunately, I have several pair of the old style. But I won't be buying any more of these!

Have worn these jeans for many many years. Was happy that I could get a short. Disappointed, though, the fabric is very very thin.

These jeans have changed. I have been buying them for years. My last order I bought 3 pairs black, stone wash and light stone. I didn't really care for the new material the stone wash and light stone were made of not the denim that they used to be. They are thin material and look cheap. I wish these came with a more tapered leg. I liked these pants because how they fit at the waist.

I have been wearing this style for longer than I care to admit. It is the only jean I have been wearing. I don't even look at anything else, but since I haven't been able to find them anywhere, I ordered online. I noticed right off they are much thinner material, and a lot more stretch, to the point they fit too snug, the previous version had stretch but did not cling to you, the description indicates blue jeans, sturdy fabric. That was the old ones. It seems that stretch is a big deal but I don't like clingy. So unfortunately I will be looking to see what else is available out there. Sorry...I always loved my Lee jeans and was a very loyal customer.
