The relaxed fit straight leg jean now sold by Lee, is a replacement for the former Monroe straight leg stretch high rise women's jean. Your replacement is not up to par. This is what happens when, in the design department's infinite wisdom decides an existing product which is first class, now needs updating! I've purchased my last jeans from Lee.

I did not zero on the description of these jeans being mid-rise. Kind of disappointed since I liked the fabric, the choice of colors was more. I was looking at relaxed jeans and bought those, and these were popping up on the screen as if they were the same cut, just different fabric. My bad for not paying attention to more of the description. And if I didn't have my gut to worry about I would have kept them. They really were nice jeans, but not for me.

I wear these and feel they fit a bit looser than Lee outlet loose fit jeans. The denim is more summer weigh5 than average. denim. I may try some of the other styles to see how they fit.

For some of us that are older and can't or don't want to wear the tighter fitting jeans these are great but would love to have a gray color in them. Please add gray! Love that the denim fabric is a bit lighter weight also. I don't need a heavy weight denim.

I don't know what these other ladies are talking about. I only, in the last year or so, discovered Lee Relaxed Fit Straight Leg jeans with stretch and I love them in Tall. I like the thinner denim material and they stretch where I need them to. Not all of us have the narrow waist and that has always been a problem for me. These jeans stretch a little in the waist and middle; not so much that it binds, but just right. And, they look nice, not too tight at the hips. Yes, they loosen up just a little when you've had them on for a while, but that makes them nice and comfy. I love them and I have several pairs, but now I'm wondering if "my jeans" won't be there later after you bring the "originals" back. Please don't stop selling my Lee Relaxed Fit Straight Leg jeans! I'm happy with them just the way they are!!

I love how comfortable these jeans are especially at the waist. They Don,t cut into my waist, the stretch comfort is perfect. I would give this Jean an all around excellent but I need black jeans and you don't offer them in black. Would definitely buy more if more colors were available.

These NEW jeans (#3051889) are advertised at-the-waist, but if they are, then why do I have to yank them up? That makes them too tight in the crotch area and much too short in overall length! The fabric, workmanship, styling, and delivery is the usual good Lee stuff, but these pants DO NOT sit at-the-waist. I prefer the OLD Classics style (#130M248) and will stick with them.

I buy size10. When I tried them on they were large in waist & waist to crouch....So I returned them. Other wise they were a nice jeans in all other ways. I would recommend them ,but say be wary of size & fit.

READ THE FABRIC CONTENT COLOR-BY-COLOR. I only buy the 98%cotton/2%. They do not stretch as much as any other fabrication. I ordered the 100% cotton LOVE LOVE LOVE, size 10M. I am 5'4" 30 waist, 39 hips. and the cotton fits perfect. I ordered the same size here but after wearing an hour they began to stretch so I realize I need a size 6M in these. They are comfy, no back gap (UGH hate that) and length is good. Again here, as in the cotton ones I wish they were straight, tapered leg. As a young adult (I am 58) all I could wear were Ryders@ by Lee because they did not gap in the back and I was muscular and needed the relaxed fit. I would prefer regular fit but, I am over-the-moon to have jeans that actually fit and don't have all the insane %'s of multiple fabrics (which are ubber stretchy and end of looking like you have been living in them for a week, in 1 day. Going back for the 2 other colors in the 98/2%. God only knows when or if I will find such delight and be able to wear jeans, mostly denim, again. TRY ORDERING DOWN A SIZE ON THESE, I am going to a 6M, to accommodate for the stretch.

I have gained some weight with age and found these to be the ONLY ones that fit me without feeling "sausaged" in!

For years your Lee Riders was my go- to jeans !! All I had to do was look for Relaxed Fit, either straight leg or the boot cut ones in my size. They always fit !! NOW THEY ARE TERRIBLE !!! They won't even button and I have not gained ANY weight. The Legs are so snug they bind movement across my new knee !! And NO they are not those stupid "skinny" jeans. The stylists now days have decided everyone should wear skin tight clothes that show every ugly roll and crease and 2 inches of material saved on every pair saves money..right ?? You made a good pair of jeans that we loved and you have let "STYLE" loose you customers.

I have a pair of these I have been wearing for years. I was happy to see I could find the same name of what I buy so I was pretty sure I was getting the same jeans. Wrong. These are close, but not the same. The rise is not as high as before so you get plumbers butt when stooping and the legs are tighter so they hug your calves. Just because they stretch does not mean the pants themselves should be any smaller in size than before!

I read all the reviews a while ago and decided to give them a try. I have been wearing Lee jeans for a long time. I didn't mind the cotton/spandex mix. I did have to buy a smaller size but all-in-all was pleased. I ordered a 2nd pair and I liked them. The 3rd pair I ordered in the same size was a little tighter in the hips/stomach/butt area but not too bad. The thighs fit well. My complaint about the 3rd pair is that from the knee down they are baggy. I decided to keep them however the next time I buy a pair I will check this and send back is they are too loose in the lower leg.

like lee jeans would like to see less spandex in your jeans.

these did not fit me well. i don't have big thunder thighs. My legs are normal sized but i have wide hips and not a rounded rump. they fit in the waist and hips but it was like a family moved out of the legs. Measured there was at least 8" of excess fabric on each thigh.

Love them. They delivered ahead of schedule. They are comfortable. I like the way they look. I like the color .. especially the dark wash. My only issue is that I ordered three pairs, three different colors, all the same size and all are different lengths.

I only buy "Lee" jeans. They fit well. They hold up well. They look great.

My only problem with Lee jeans in general is the margin of error allowed on the length. 30 inseam is not 30 inches. Plus or minus 2" is allowed which is absurd.

I have worn this style for several years, but have lost over 30 lbs in 6 months. At 5'2"...I want the length to wear with flats and a wedge heel. I have never noticed these come in petite and SHORT. Be careful, they are NOT the same! Make sure you check the length on both before ordering. I wish I had.

I still prefer the fabric used in your Jeans several years ago. They look neater and crisper. Every time I put on an old pair, they feel so good. I know they don't have the flexibility, but I still much prefer them.

when this jean became a stretch blend jean my initial thought was, "I wish they had left them as cotton". But these are much more durable and they stay stylish longer. Being fuller in the hips than normal, this jean fits well. My only issue is that I wish the size was consistent. Sometimes when I order they're more loose than others or more snug.

I love the fit of these jeans but the black denim fades extremely fast. Can't you come up with a differnt dye that lasts longer please.

My only complaint is that I want these to be about 2 inches shorter in the rise - the relaxed fit is comfortable but doesn't come in a lower rise
