I’ve been searching for an all cotton sneaker without a rubber toe cap and a rounded toe that doesn’t cramp my toes. I came across the natural world eco website and used their detailed measuring instructions to determine that I should order a size 41 even though I wear a 40 (US women’s size 9) in other shoes. I was really glad to see that Zappos sells some of the natural world sneakers, especially since the customer service at natural world eco sounds sketchy at best and shipping times are long. I received my size 41 shoes from Zappos in a matter of days and they are almost perfect. Real rubber soles feel like the Keds sneakers I grew up with in the sixties, not the harder, slippery plastic found on many sneakers now. The toe shape is pleasing and wider than converse and most other sneakers. It could have a little more height for more wiggle room but is not uncomfortable. The upper is a nice sturdy but soft canvas with no synthetic lining and the removable insole is thick enough that it can be replaced with a custom insert if desired, but it feels pretty well cushioned and the cotton cover is cool on bare feet. The soles are a bit on the thin side so I’m not sure how long they’ll last. The laces are about 6” too short (and my foot is narrow and bony). They really need to fix this as it’s not easy to find longer replacement cotton laces in the matching color. I hope Zappos will offer more styles of these shoes, as they are cool looking, comfy and eco friendly. With longer laces and correctly standardized sizing I would give these 5 stars.

Took a guess at size, ordered 37 like my Birkenstock’s, and they are just right. I usually buy 8s, sometimes 7.5. Love the texture and rumpled look. They seem well constructed. The footbed is padded but offers no real support, as expected…similar to Sanuk. As this is what I wanted…it’s good. Not good if you need supportive sneaks, though. Bought them for looks, not to hike in. Cute cute cute on!

These are amazingly comfortable right out of the box, the color is richly lovely, and the insoles are removable so you can replace them if you'd like a little more arch support. Surprise bonus: they smell like blueberries rather than plastic or chemicals (maybe it's the natural rubber?).

These shoes fit like a perfect 4-4.5, leaning toward 4.5. Sometimes my feet are a 4, though, and these shoes were not too big for that. They actually fit like they were designed for a woman with a small foot, not a child with a large one (people on the cusp of size 5 may understand this better than most). My instep didn't feel choked; the shoe came up high enough that I could walk well. My toes landed right where they should have. Well done to Natural World for truly accommodating a foot like mine.

Terrific little pair of sneakers at a phenomenal price, and made in Spain. I chose the 38 (US Women's 7-7.5) for my 6-1/2 slightly wide foot. They fit like a dream. The sole is flexible so there's some arch support and lots of "give" as you walk in them; they're not stiff slip-ons like Van's. The fabric is very high quality. I replaced the laces with longer ones because they're a bit on the short side, but of good quality too. Don't hesitate on these. The Beige Washed is darker IRL, a better shade than what's on the monitor.

I love the shoes but not the color (beige). It's actually pretty much medium/darkish brown. I will return and try another color I guess.

It is too small. Not well made but looks nice.
