I have flat feet so there is no perfect shoe/boot for me but these are by far the most comfortable work shoes I've ever used,on my feet 10 + hours a night and they don't disappoint, highly recommend giving these a try

Before trying these Timberland Pros, I read a review that said this shoe felt like "clown shoes". Evidently he meant the were too big. Usually I get steel toed boots a little bigger because I don't want problems with my toes rubbing. I do have wide feet, from wearing shoes that are too big - more on that later. However, this can allow the shoe to slip in the heel, because there's extra space there. I was getting blisters. I can walk twenty miles during a 10 hr shift running totes in the Pick department at the Amazon fulfillment center in Colorado Springs, CO, one of the two largest in the nation. However, I figured from what this guy said I could maybe get the wide version of my normal size and I wouldn't get the blisters. Well, so far, so good. I only ran totes for a couple hours last night, but didn't feel that burning sensation that seems to signal the heel is rubbing and a blister will be coming on soon. I did replace the provided insert with an old one I had that contains a little more cushioning, but I'm not sure that will be enough. I guess I'm spoiled. Usually I order boots 2 - 2.5 sizes too big and then stick flip-flops inside (with the straps cut off, of course), because those inserts you buy just don't have that much padding. I don't know why these shoe companies don't just slap on a really good, THICK, cushioning sole. We have foam rubber floor mats in the work station areas, which really helps. But walking 20 miles on concrete floors stresses the feet, especially when you're an old bugger like me.

These shoes help support my ankles. I'm not getting right ankle pain that I had before from wearing low tops. Excellent ankle support. The color is beautiful, love the blue. Like the way the shoes tie. Very comfortable work boot. Unfortunately, I stand on my feet all night and even pain pills don't help with the excruciating pain. I even bought inserts from New Balance for $50 but nothing helps. I need a job where I don't stand all night 11 hours. Really like the shoes though. 5 stars for beauty, comfort and support. I wear an 8.5-9 in womens. I ordered the mens 8.5 wide and they fit perfect. Just wear thicker socks it needed.

I ordered a size 14 extra wide because my feet have a tendency to swell standing on my feet 10 hours a day at Amazon. I am completely satisfied with my shoes and recommend than anyone standing on the feet for long hours, whether a man or woman, get a "wider" size than you normally wear to account for the swelling of your feet. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
