So, I *dabble in woodworking. I deal with wood daily and heavy, dangerous machinery that could cut of any number of digits or limbs at any given time. The number of black and blue toes I've suffered is too many to count from all that falling timber. Hence, the reason for purchasing the shoes with alloy toe protection. After 3 days of wear I've managed to break them in. I love the support, comfort and overall feel. I race home from my daily job anxiously awaiting to slip on these boots and get to my passion of woodworking design knowing my feet are properly protected and in good hands. Thank you, Timberland. Thank you. I must point out my wife was quick to note a passing kiss and shuffling off to the closet and change. I told her not to worry. She knew there was competition. What can I say? When something feels rightit's just right. Now when you design an item to protect me from my wife and her jealous rage over my new found boot-love please let me know. And have that item go on sale after a couple of weeks. Wish me luck.

I work in a brewery and these boots check all the boxes. Great fit, cushy and comfortable. Extremely durable and look great. The waterproofing and breathability are fantastic. Considering another pair for if/when my current pair need to be retired.

Easily my favorite boot I've owned. Super comfortable year round, even in the snow. I'm pretty hard on my boots and these put up a good fight, all while looking stylish. What else can you ask for?

These boots are super sturdy and stylish but a bit bulky and heavy for what I needed from them (Working freight in a retail setting). I could see these being fantastic for outside work or construction instead.

I use my new boots in the Construction field, I couldn't be happier, the boots are a great fit for the type of work I do & having them on 8hrs a day. I highly recommend the work boots. I like that the boots are water proof

Could use better arch support and insole padding. Do a lot of standing and walking on the job.

Great work boot, cushioning is excellent. Size runs a little small, should order half size up.

I got this for my husband's birthday. He really likes the boots, said that it's comfortable and it looks very durable. The only little complaint I have was that the boots look like they're worn before, because of the different scratches on the shoes. They didn't look brand new, I was a little disappointed because it's a birthday gift, but other than that, it's good.

I've been wearing these for about two weeks so take this for what it's worth. Right out of the box I found them very cumbersome to put on and take off. I mean, it was all I could do to get them off after working all day. I know that's common with most new work boots so I'm not knocking Timberland. They broke in relatively quickly (about a week). I don't like that there is no ankle support. This is due to the laces stopping just under the front of the ankle. There are two hooks at the top of the laces but using them puts pressure against the ankle bone causing discomfort walking. Still, Not a deal breaker. My biggest complaint is that they're hot! Like having your feet stuffed in felt lined sleeping bags all day! Great for snowy days I'm sure but not for South Carolina construction. If not for that I'd give them 4 stars at least.

I use these daily have been for about 2 months now and they are the worse quality work boot I've ever bought. I do concrete and will say they're comfortable but don't hold together and fell apart.

I use the timberland pro Barstow for work and love them but bought these and had to send them back. And still haven't received a refund yet. I would not recommend buying online due to long wait times and bad quality control.

Everything is great about these Gridworks boots. They offer great protection with my work. Protect against pathogens and electrical shock in my line of work and are waterproof. Great comfort all day. I also have a black pair I use for off work time.

Great traction! Quality leather. I work outdoors in the swimming pool industry. They are comfortable for all day work. I average 7000 steps a day primarily over concrete and they are holding up great. I regularly get water on them and use them in the rain and they have kept my feet pefectly dry. I've received multiple compliments as they are stylish. I did swap out the inner soles for some high arch soles from another brand as i felt the original soles were too inclined, possibly from the thick heel padding. I would definitely buy these again. My feet no longer feel sore as opposed to the expensive sneakers I used to wear . I regularly use Saphir leather conditioner to maintain their appeal and to protect the leather. The outter soles are showing almost no wear!
