This is a cool boot. But it has sizing issues. My foot is 11 inches long. I believe a "normal" size 12 is 10.85 inches. I can ONLY get away with buying Stuart Weitzman boots or booties because they run long presumably for people to be able to wear a thicker sock with them. I'm grateful for that because I LOVE shoes, in general, and SW boots/booties in particular. I'm also Narrow (AA) so I have a hard time finding shoes, at all. SW did not have this boot in size 12 Narrow, but I decided to try it in 12 Medium. The length on the 12 Medium was like every SW boot or bootie (over the years I've come to own 6 pairs) I've tried. However, the Medium width wouldn't work because the ankle area was too wide so I had to send them back. BUT, a few days later I saw that SW had the boot in 12 Narrow! I had liked the look of the boot so much I was excited to get it in my true size. But the boot was short for SW bootie/boots. If their "normal" size 12 is 11.25 inches this boot was 11 inches or less. So whereas the Narrow width was perfect it was - for SW - unexpectedly "short" in length. The size 12 length for the medium and the size 12 length for the Narrow were NOT the same. So, beautiful boot (not sure if it's as comfortable as most SW booties/boots), but sizing - at least for 12 length-wise is an issue. I wish Stuart Weitzman would add a size 13 Narrow - hey, gravity is just not your foot lengths friend! - to their collections as then I would not be bound only to their boots/booties. It would be awesome to be able to buy and wear their other closed toe shoes. And, whoa, does someone know something I don't. This review is asking me if I bought a 12.5. I've never seen SW even offer a 12.5, but maybe I've missed the boat on that?

This boot is GORGEOUS! And I hate to have to return them. I'm typically a 11.5 medium but I've found that every 2021Fall shoe that I've purchased from SW is really narrow. I had to order in a wide. So 11.5 wide is perfect, BUT the boot shaft is tight and very difficult to get on and off . I have larger calves so this boot feels like it is cutting off circulation. So if you have narrow feet and skinny legs this will work great for you. I will have to return for the short ankle style . Word of advice size up in width.

I'm a big fan of Stuart Weitzman shoes. I prefer to wear classic shoes with excellent quality (material and build). Weitzman shoes fit my stated preference well. I've purchased many of the boots in particular, because they fit my feet nicely and are very beautiful. Due to the high price of Stuart Weitzman quality shoes, I wait for a sale to purchase.

Absolute favorite boot. I wear every day, walk miles in them and couldn't be more comfortable. Couldn't recommend enough!!!

If you're browsing these boots, sis please just buy them. OMG my husband picked these boots out for my birthday and as soon as I saw them I knew they had to be my mine. The only thing I was skeptical about was the sizes because I do have wide feet; and in certain shoes my feet fit differently, but these felt like they were handmade JUST for me. Comfortability on 100% no exaggeration. I love the fact that they have different width options and if your feet are not wide or long, just get your regular size sis. To me personally, the only reason I would half size up (if you're thinking about it) is if you're thinking about constantly wearing thick socks with it, which I am not. These are my special going out boots and I will only wear tights with them. BUY BUY BUY! and they're on sale! Can't beat that lol

I have not worn these boots yet but I cannot wait. I tried them on as soon as they arrived and I absolutely love them! As the other review mentioned, these are meant to be shown off!!! And I plan to just that! I already have a few outfits in mind. The fact that they were so comfy when I tried them on makes outfit planning easier.

I have a difficult time pressing the purchase button on shoes or boots that I cannot see or try on in person. Like everyone else, my feet have sizing issues. I wear an 8.5-9, depending on the shoe, & my feet are narrow. I love a solid shoe, due to occasional balance issues. I am a grandmother who's always had an "edgy" approach to my personal style. I've been drooling over these boots for several months, & finally "pushed the button." These boots are by far the best boots I have ever worn. They arrived at my house just as I was about to go out to run some errands, so I put them on (the first time is awkward, because the boot shaft is higher than the boots I have previously worn.) These boots were immediately comfortable & form fitted to my feet. I wore them for 4-5 hours the first day. I did get the size 9, which was a perfect fit. The lug soles are a bit heavy, & it takes a few minutes to remember to lift those feet up a little more, so as not to "scuff" the soles as you walk. After wearing these boots the first afternoon, I am totally in love. I got the blue boots, & they are SO beautiful! These are "centerpiece" boots. Rather than just throwing on whatever shoes go w/my outfit, now I try to plan my outfits around these boots. I have never had such well made, attractive boots. Stuart Weitzman, I have bought wedding shoes & lug sole boots from you. Both were/are perfect. I will not hesitate to buy other shoes from you that catch my eye. Push the button, people. These shoes & boots are showstoppers that cannot help but be noticed.

Total impulse buy, but I don't regret it one bit! Combat boot styles are so not my thing, but I wanted something besides heels to wear with my polished midi skirts, and sprang for these! They fit like a dream and are true to size. Super comfy, too! No break in time needed. I wear 7 or 7.5 in SW, but there was only a 7 available in black, and they're perfect! They're showstoppers, too! Everyone stops me to compliment my boots! I looooove them!! Will last for years! Thank you, SW!

The blue croc embossed leather is beautiful. It can read as black, especially at night, but is visually more interesting and fun, IMO. I feel sure-footed and happy walking around in these boots, and have received many enthusiastic complements on them. Love the ultralift lug sole, and the overall quality of this boot.
