Very hard to break in had to use a lot of mink oil

Good idea but....my regular size was a full size too big so I ordered next smaller which fit better but there is no support on the sides. The workmanship on the second pair was bad with poorly sewn seams. Not what I've come to expect from Bean.

I should have listened to other reviewers

Having ordered slippers from ll bean before and having them fit well, I figured the same size would work. These are way too long, even with heavy socks on. I now see that other reviewers have the same complaint. Since there are no half sizes, I returned them for refund,
