Christmas present for my son. He has narrow feet so the medium width is a little loose fitting on him, but he loves them! Awesome to slip on to run to the mailbox. This is the second pair that I have purchased for someone in the family.

After many years owning Bean moccasins, I accepted that the following were issues I no longer wanted to deal with: 1) as the soles wear, they became dangerously slippery on any damp or wet surface 2) Once the leather lace unties, it doesn't really seem to stay tied properly for long 3) the fluffy lining wears.4) If the material were thicker, perhaps one wouldn't wear a hole right through at the big toe. I've had the mountain slippers for a couple of weeks. They have a thick sole with tread that offers good traction. There is no leather lacing to come undone. The lining is soft and comfortable. I will be interested to see how these wear over time but so far would say they are a good slipper at a reasonable price and more practical than the moccassins from the get-go. I noticed no unusual odor as mentioned in a couple reviews.

Snug but comfortable. Especially good traction for up and down stairs and short trips outdoors. Also just warm. Enough.

This is my second pair. Only reason being we got a puppy who also loves them. When I leave the house she sleeps on them. Also likes to bite my feet as we play. Been playing for six weeks and NOT a tooth mark or damage to the slippers. I wear outside and inside. The first pair is almost two years old.

Bought these for my husband and he absolutely loves them. Great for comfort and warmth - plus he can wear them outside if needed.

I have had various l.l. bean slippers for most of my life, usually the moccasin variety, sometimes lined sometimes not. But this slipper is the best of them all. The fit is exact. The lining is warm but not overly so for a heated house. Now in my 70's I especially appreciate the outer soles. The grip is tremendous and I feel secure and sure-footed. They are durable and can easily be worn for short forays into the outdoors for the mail or trash bins. Don't usually review products but this one is a winner.

As this is a present for a relative I really can't review it.

After wearing Beans flannel lined moccasins for years I decided to try these (my little granddaughter always liked to untie the laces on my Mocs). So far these seem like a great choice; good fit (but a tad wider than the Mocs), comfortable and warm, with or without socks, . . . and no laces to come untied. Assuming they hold up well I will buy them again.

Great slippers. Fit well, very comfortable. Soles provide firm grip everywhere, especially going down stairs, which is a big plus for me. Highly recommend these to anyone who want a good slipper at a good price

Excellent fit and quality. I sometimes have problems with house slippers becoming hot and causing me to sweat in them, but that is not the case with these shoes. They are comfortable when I initially put them on, as well as hours later.

I have owned these slippers for more than three months and they are the most comfortable footwear I own. My search for warm, comfortable slippers seemed to go on and on until I ordered these. Good quality, warm and very, very comfortable. I can recommend them without reservation. I wear them as often as possible, even for quick trips to the store or on really cold damp days and nights. Good stuff.

I had a pair of LL Bean slippers, fuzzy on the outside, full wrap-around at the heal. Excellent slippers. But we needed to keep them at our summer place. So we looked for the same thing. Nope, long gone. We did pick a silimlar-looking pair and we were more than pleasantly surprised. Perfect fit, good grip on wet or uneven surfaces, and best of all, fantastic heel lift (in my case, to prevent plantar fasciitis.) and arch support. The wrap-around heel construction is perfect, so they don't come off unless I want them to come off. I highly recommend them. LL Bean, please don't discontinue them. Ever.

I got them as a birthday gift for my husband. They fit perfectly and he is very happy with them.

These slippers were bought to replace another pair that made black marks on everything, and occasionally caused my 84 year old husband to trip. These do not make marks, have not caused him to trip and are very comfortable. With soles good enough to go out and get the morning newspaper, but soft enough to wear all day if he wants to.

Not the most popular men's slipper....but very well made and comfortable.

I had the elk hide slip ons that were great but these are even better. I wear a size 9 wide shoe and went with a size 10 med for these slippers. Love the bean boot chain pattern sole and use them both indoors and out with and without socks. They hold their shape and are very comfortable.

Bought as a gift for a friend, I debated on the size to purchase. He is a 91/2, but I bought the size 9. Just to check the fit, we went to the store so he could try size 10. It was much too big. Given that the slippers stretch some, the clerk agreed that the size 9 was the best fit for my friend. He is quite happy with them -- very comfy.

My husband loves his new Mountain Slippers! They are a great fit and comfortable around the house and even outdoors.

These slippers are easy to get on and off yet hold their shape. The bottoms are rigid enough to wear outdoors yet very comfortable to walk in.

Husband loves them - perfect xmas present. I got two kinds and this was his favorite.

excellent value, very comfortable. I would recommend this item to friends. I liked the dark brown color that should continue to look cleaner than a lighter shade. I bought this item as a Christmas gift. The person I bought the slippers for really likes them.

Slippers were a gift for an elderly gentleman. His LL Bean Slippers were duct taped. Thought it would be an excellent Christmas gift. He says they are warm, comfortable and the fit is excellent.
