these slippers are rugged. good sturdy soles in case you need to run to the mailbox in them. they actually cradle and support your feet. and the lining is so comfy and warm.I always think twice about spending this much on slippers. Then I recall how other brands didn't last long. you really get your money's worth. these will not fall apart!.

I read a lot of reviews about these being tight so I was worried I might have that problem. I did NOT! I ordered my regular LL Bean size 9.5 which I guess rounded up to 10. My feet slide right in and I do not have to lean down to pull up the heel. I love the original chain tread too and I can go outside on my snowy driveway in Montana and not slip. Great slippers and should last a long time!

Very well made slippers that are warm, comfortable and can be worn all day. The sturdy sole is waterproof and grips the walking surface. We do live in the mountains and these are perfect for quick trips outside for the mail or to pull trash cans to the end of the driveway. The best!

I have been buying L.L. Bean slippers for my husband for years. This is the first time I've bought this particular slipper. He absolutely loves them. True to size. It's hard to find slippers with an Exact size.
