These slippers look good and are comfortable out of the box but don't stand up to normal wear. The inside flannel lining at the heel soon wears out exposing the foam padding underneath. The stitching at the toe and sides unravels, and the rubberized sole detaches from the leather top. Also, the leather laces don't stay laced. I ended up removing them completely, but then had lace holes showing. I finally threw them out and purchased a much nicer pair from another company.

I really want these to work. I ordered a 9 which is the size I usually wear. That was too small. I just received the 10. Unfortunately, the fit is in consistent. My left foot is a little bigger than my left. However, the left shoe was too wide and a little too long while the right shoe was too narrow. I could look down and see how the right shoe was more narrow than the left shoe.

Not the quality I expected from LL Bean. It has only been 3 weeks since I started wearing it, and the inner flannel lining is slowly starting to peel off. What are my options LL Bean??

My true size is 12 1/2. The 13 was too big and floppy with no socks so I returned it. Otherwise seemed good.

I do love them and it's my second pair. Unfortunately they will only last about a year. But alas I keep getting them. The pic is the first pair shoe

I have purchased 4 pairs over the past 10 years. I wore them daily and have really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, just after LL Bean announced that they had reduced their guarantee from lifetime to a limited 1 year one I have seen a noticeable drop in quality. The pair I purchased about 2 1/2 years ago had the stitching around the sole unravel ... just 3 months after warrantee. The pair I purchased 12 months ago had the insoles wear out and bunch up. This time, just within 12 months. I returned them and was told it was 'normal wear & tear'.
I guess I'll have to start looking now for a new brand of slippers for next year!

Purchased a pair of these slippers in early September and the flannel lining is already wearing out in several places on both.
It's a real shame because the rest of the slipper seems ready to last for a good long time.
Solved the problem by adding an insole, but would have expected better from LLBean.

This is my fourth pair. I love them except the flannel wears out at the heal way too quick.I thought this would be fixed by now.?

I have ordered these same slippers in the past and ordered the same size. The slippers were way to big. I think they used to have more fluff. Returned them for smaller size.

These are nice slippers and seem very well made. They would probably be comfortable for most people. But, they are too narrow for my feet. Typically, when slip-ons come only in whole sizes, if I order up a size it works out well. These did not. Given my "gouty" feet, I can't take the time to break them in. I was also disappointed by the hardness of the soles, just not what I expected. I will be returning them.

I bought these in June 2018. Within a year, the flannel lining had holes in it, but they were still wearable. Today (20200628) I noticed that one of the soles had cracked and was coming loose from the upper. I pay a premium for Bean products because I expect them to last. Two years is a very short life span for leather footwear.

This is the second pair I've purchased from LL Bean (returned first pair due to fit issues) and these seem to fit better than the first pair, but still seem a little snug with socks and a little too loose without. Otherwise, these seem to be hardy and comfortable.

The padding immediately crinkled up under the toes, and got worse with each wear. There is now a clump under the joints of my toes.

Love the exterior of the slipper but the flannel lining wears out in a couple of weeks.

Just too narrow. I count on LL Bean to offer products that fit better than Made in China. I found quality, in general, was down for my Christmas purchases this year from LL Bean. It was disappointing since I could always count on LL Bean gifts for high quality and a good fit.

My husband would have liked to keep these slippers but they simply don't fit someone with a high, steep instep. Length and width seem OK, but they come too far up on the instep for him. Other than that, they were very nice.

These are a solid item - though quite surprised to see they were made in a country that has had a less than stellar human rights record, Myanmar.

Nice leather uppers with flannel lining. However the flannel does not go all the way up the tongue leaving an exposed sewed ridge that digs into the top of your foot. Not a problem if you wear socks with these slippers. The sole material is without form and tends to roll my ankle outward.

My husband has had a pair of these for 10 years.
I bought him a new pair for Christmas, same exact size as the old ones.
These new ones are are narrow and tight. It's expected that they would feel tighter than the old ones, and need to break in, but he has tried wearing them around the house and they are painfully uncomfortable for him.
He has a normal to narrow width foot, so he usually doesn't have a problem with shoes being too narrow.
The quality of the product seem fine.
Will exchange for bigger size, but am fearing they will be too big.

My foot is between an 8.5 and 9, so I ordered a 9. Makes sense. But they are too tight (narrow), and hard to get on. But if I ordered the next size up, that would be too big. I think with time, the leather will soften up and they'll be okay, so I'll keep them. But I was expecting better quality for the price. A lot of "buts" in this review.

My husband wore his first pair of these slippers until they fell apart (took quite a while). He wears a 91/2 to 10 shoe. They were a size 10. Ordered another size 10 pair last year and they were too narrow and tight. Returned them. Tried again this year and they also are too narrow. Wish these came in wide width.

As cheaply made slippers go, these are among the best. They tend to be a narrow fit and are a bit harder to get on/off. They will last 1-1.5 years. Not too bad for this price. I generally look for a sale price to offset the shipping cost. They are truly all-weather and can be worn rain or snow. The interior of the shoe will start breaking down after 9 months to one year. The heel of the shoe will have a hole in a bit more than a year. A quality that is worth the price when on sale.
