The slippers are very nice quality. I am unfortunately returning them, because my husband's toe rubbed at the top. Just not for him.

I bought these for my husband. Bought a 12 wide and they are still narrow. We are hoping they stretch with time and wear.

This is my third pair of Beans flannel lined slippers. I'm not hard on shoes but usually get only 1 1/2-2yr wear on them. As with many other reviews they have to be retied constantly, the flannel wears out completely and the rubber soles are for indoors ONLY, (rugs & hardwood floors). I started wearing this pair last Oct, (4mo ago). Seems this time the soles are already showing significant wear. I'd pay a little more for a product that would last a while longer. Come on LLBean, you can do better!

This is a nice slipper and generally well made. The leather tie which is cosmetic does not stay tied. A trip hazard. We are going to try super glue.

The flannel ling has worn through at one heal and the other is not far behind. I am disappointed because I use them only during colder months and not every day. They fit well and not sloppy. I have had these slippers for a little over one year so not returnable. I have had two pairs of these slippers in the past and the quality was better than these new ones.

He says the slippers are slipping off his heels.the recommendation was to go up to the next whole size if the wearer is a half size

I really want to give a 5 star review for these slippers, but I just can't - yet.
I bought my first pair March 1, 2024. In November 2025, just 1 year, 8 months later, I happened to look at the soles - the rubber sole was cracked all over the place! Now, the flannel lining wore pretty quick, maybe within a year, which kind of surprised me, but the soles?! These are slippers - they see VERY light duty usage in mornings and evenings, mainly shuffling around the house and sitting in a chair with my feet up. I never expected this to happen.
A new pair was ordered in November 2025, because I really want to like these slippers and am hoping this was a fluke. Hoping so much, in fact, that I ordered another pair for camp. And, no, the first pair was beyond the 1 year warranty and I wasn't in the mood to do deal with trying to prove whatever (I'm from when LL himself warrantied his products forever...)
We will see how these two pair do. Again, hoping pair #1 was a fluke and that I can get several good years of life out of these high-dollar slippers.
Three stars for now.

Liked the shoe, but the Acorn color shoe actually looks like the catalog color of the Brown shoe. Was wanting the lighter tan like the cqtalog & web images show.

I like these a lot, and they're very comfortable when you first wear them. The problem is that in a year or maybe less the foam in the heel breaks down, and the flannel on the heel wears out. I'm not super hard on these and the suede and crepe sole last forever! I have some leather soles/leather lined bison slippers from LLB and those are bullet proof, but can't go outside. I wish these came with a leather liner instead, they'd be perfect for running out for the paper. The insoles are also sewn in (non removable) so to get a new insole and liner on the bottom you need to slice it out.

My husband wears 13-14 shoe and strangely both sizes 13 & 14 were too long but too tight across the mid-foot area. Naturally no wide sizes remaining to size down to a 12W. Last pair lasted 25+ years so disappointed not able to replace them.

I used LL Bean's size recommendations feature before ordering the slippers. The size the feature recommended based on shoes I wear by other manufacturers turned out to be a little too large -- even with thick socks. They do appear to be well-made, however, and I've found this too be true generally with LL Bean products.I didn't want to be bothered with returning them so I kept them. As I recall the slippers are only available in full sizes -- half-sizes not available. A half-size smaller would have been a much better fit. I have had problems with LL Bean shirts also being too large in their stated sizes compared to same-sized shirts from other manufacturers.

The order I am referring to is my third fulfillment of this item. The flannel lining failed prematurely on the first pair, and L.L.Bean replaced the first pair at no-charge. Thank you. Not much better for life expectancy on pair #2, unfortunately.
I am hoping the lining on pair #3 lasts a longer than pair one and two - although the material looks surprisingly similar.
The leather and crepe sole are without peer. I cannot understand why the fabric is of such quality - you make that assumption.
I use these slippers daily, upon retiring from a busy day, after showering.
Please consider upgrading the fabric, or produce the item without lining altogether. I have had the leather lined version, and they are great, but hey - I'm on a fixed income (retirement) ;).

these slippers are nicely made but my only compaint is that the toe box is very cramped and narrow! My toes are squeezed to the point that it is painful to wear them.

I have had these slippers less than a year. I bought them because of the flannel liningso I could wear them in the evenings as house slippers over the cooler months in Spring and Fall. So, I've worn them for approximately 6 months and the interior flannel lining is already worn through on both feet at the heel and the ball of my foot. It is so thin it almost looks like it was painted on. The rest of the moccasin hardly looks worn. I would not buy these again for the price I paid for them.

Slippers are high quality leather, but not the most comfortable in the upper section.

Not a super comfortable slipper by any means. Also about a size too big out of the box, before they even stretch. For this price, I hope at least they last a few years!

I have owned at least 3 pair of these mocs over the years, and each newer pair has shown a decline in quality. It started with my latest pair and the lining. The "flannel" is tissue thin, and started to wear through after a month! The gum rubber sole stiching, where it attaches to the leather upper, started letting go couple of months in, and you can see where there's a gaping hole on the toe! I don't wear these outside, luckily. I should have brought these in for an exchange, since the failure was well within a year, but they were a gift from my wife, and I didn't have the receipt.
All said, they are still very comfortable, and the leather quality is great! But there has been a slide in the materials quality and quality control that do not fit well with the L.L. Bean name.

Have had several pairs of these over the years. Bought these at the flagship store in Freeport. Only had them for three weeks and not worn very often. The flannel lining is already pilling and seems to be of poorer quality. Frankly disappointed that they don't seem to be holding up as well as prior purchases.

Prefer leather lined slippers but can't purchase the only one available due to California restrictions. This slipper runs small due to padding and flannel lining. Cannot be worn with socks in your true shoe size and isn't particularly comfortable on bare feet. Might buy again in a larger size only because a decent alternative is unavailable.

I bought this pair after wearing out the same pair I purchased 5 years ago. That pair was great, this one just feels different. Like the quality just isn't the same. They are looser and not as fitted to my feet, and have a lot of room around the ankles. Not a typical product I would see from them over the years.
