The catalog advises going to the next larger size for half-sizes. I did this and the size was too large and fell off my foot. I had to return for the next smaller size at the store. There was no problem with the return, but it did require an unnecessary trip.This item will stretch over time and should not be ordered in a larger size.

These slippers are really comfortable. The only negative is that the flannel lining wears out too quickly. Even with that, I like them so much that I bought a second pair after I left my first pair at my daughter's.

Been a Bean customer for 20 plus years. These slippers were well made and good looking. BUT, despite upsizing to the next larger size( 8.5 to 9 ) ,as suggested by Bean, they were so tight my big toe was making a bulge in the front. Since a size 10 would be next and no socks are used, I decided not to try the 10.I know bean mocs stretch (have worn many) but these were so small that would not help.

I had the last pair of these slippers for about 10 years so I decided to get new ones. Fit is wonderful and comfortable and softens my step when I wear them on hard wood floors. Warm and cosy in winter.

The slippers are well-made and comfortable, however the flannel lining wore out in a relatively short time. LLB replaced the slippers with no questions asked, so that is an excellent deal!

Having previously owned 2 pairs of Bean's all moosehide slippers, I expected these to last just as long. Unfortunately, the thin sole wore through even with indoor use only on carpeted floors. Otherwise they are very comfortable slippers.

BUYER beware of sizes. If you normally take a size 9 1/2 Any ware near a wide. You better order a size 11. All the sizes run small and to make things worse DON'T think you can order a Wide..NOT going to happen!! Order on line , RETURN to store. The people at the store were MORE than happy to exchange them for me. ( I am sure this is NOT the first time this has happened!) I thought I was going to save money on free shipping BUT I spent it on gas to take the slippers back to the store.. NO., They were NOT made in Maine.. Unless Maine is part of China...

I ordered these slippers for my Husband and he loves them in every way. He has only had them for 3 weeks but wears them everyday. The fit was perfect and they look really nice on his feet. I'm just waiting to see how well they hold up before giving them a 5 star rating.

I purchased for my husband because his old LLBean's had worn out. He likes the new, not suede, leather look but says the shoes are slightly bigger than the old. He says they feel about a half size too large.

Have ordered several pairs over the last 4 years. Highly recommend!

everything is great but the laces come undone easily otherwise they are terrific

These slippers are well made and were exactly as advertised. I returned them because they were too warm for the mid-season use I was envisioning.

These flannel lines slippers are an excellent product. I have worn them for probably 10 + years. However when I went to order them this time I found out they no longer make women's sizes or 1/2 sizes. After trying 3 different sizes of the men's slippers, I was unable to get a good fit so I had to return them. I am very disappointed that you no longer make women's sizes or 1/2 sizes as I LOVE these slippers and they last forever. If you ever decide to make women's sizes I will definitely order some. Thank you for your patience with all of my returns and refunds. Your customer service department was excellent.

Very high quality and well constructed. The fit is a little odd. Order next size up. I typically wear a 10, and these 11s are the right size. Oddly, one is a little snug, but it's not the size of the foot, but rather the size of the slipper. The sole is able to be worn outdoors for trips to the mailbox, but not for hiking in the woods. Gentle use outdoors only. Very nice leather uppers.

My husband really likes these slippers. I think this is his 5th pair. Just wish the soles didn't wear through so quickly.

Nicely made and handsome in appearance. I'm disappointed that they aren't cut wide enough to accomodate a slightly wider foot and they're not available in a wide size either.

I've owned these slippers for around a week now and these are my second LLBean slippers. I am hoping that they continue to break in and stretch out a bit. I typically wear socks with these types of slippers but wearing a regular thickness sock leaves my feet feeling cramped and my feet are not wide. Thinner socks work better and no socks feels less cramped (but my feet sweat). Besides the narrowness of the slipper, it is well constructed and comfortable. The bottom is sturdy and looks like it will hold up over time. Arch support is minimal and it seems putting any kind of insert for support would make these slippers way too cramped.

I am very happy, once they were broken in. Initially the left one fit perfectly, but the right one was way too narrow (length was fine). It bound my foot so tightly it hurt and I almost returned them. I'm glad I held off and worked on stretching it out with shoe tree and a little bit more wear. It is still snug but feels great as I don't want it too loose. My advice: give it a little time to break in if too narrow.

very well done, quality leather, nice shoe. Tight but a shoe stretcher helped them fit. If you dont have one I think you would have to buy one, They were really small

What sold us on these slippers is the flannel lining instead of the faux shearling type of lining. My husband had to go up a size because he has a wide foot.

Gift for father in law, really enjoys them. Very comfortable. Thank you for a great Christmas gift.

My Husband loves these slippers. They are truely a great quality slipper but they do feel narrow to him. He has never worn a wide width shoe but he wishes these came in a wide width. Instead, we returned the size 10s and ordered a size larger than normal and he finds these more comfortable. He still hopes these stretch a little.
