My husband asks for a new pair every year (even though they could last much longer). Only thing he doesn't like is the tie on the top unlaces easily. He fixes it by taking out the ties completely.

For a picky guy, these are still perfect. Comfy, not too hot, solid soles so you can walk outside. Definitely a good purchase!

Every pair I have purchased over the years -- 6+? -- is a repeatable winner. Always slight differences, but they are my preferred go-to. All I have to do is get off my butt and learn the "right" knot to keep the laces tied! An ongoing challenge, but certainly does not discourage me from buying these. I love them.

Very comfortable and can be worn outside, too. My prior pair lasted many, many years and I wore them just about every day! The lining will wear after time but that doesn't have any affect on wearing this slipper.

Had a hard time finding slippers that fit my wide feet well - 11 wide worked great!

Overall: Best of many slippers. Over the years I've gone through many slippers. These are the best. Fit. True to size. EE wide was perfect for me. There is no arch support. Very flat. For me perfect for padding around the house. Wouldn't hike with them or wear to the mall. Leather: Good, pebbled leather. Have waxed to protect against household stains. Will look better longer than suede. Use: My indoor slipper. But rubber sole is fine for runs to the car etc. Great country slipper. Shearling is cushier but too warm for my feet. These are perfect with or without socks. Quality: Look very well made. Reinforced sewing at stress points. Wont' really know for a couple of years.

Hubby loved his new slippers! He has a high instep so we ordered the wide in his size and they fit perfectly.
