it was time to retire my 15 year old L. L. Bean slippers to our cottage so bought a new pair. I like the sole and the lining. Once they are "broken in" I am sure they will serve me for years to come.

I bought a pair for my husband and me. We love them. I had a pair I wore out then bought some cheap slippers. You can feel the comfort and quality when you slip your feet into them. I'm sure I will wear these out too, (to the point there are holes in the soles)

The last pair lasted 11 years and at age 78 I anticipate this new pair may be the last pair I will ever buy. Might say they will last me a lifetime. They are very comfortable, well made, look good and I even walk to the mail box with them. Buy a pair you will not be disappointed,

These are much more than slippers and can easily be used outside. They are comfortable and look very smart.

These slippers were for my husband, who wears slippers in the house all the time. He is thoroughly enjoying the comfort, and support that they are giving him. The bottom of the slippers keep him safe without skidding, allowing him to walk outside without ruining them. He would like one in every color, as with the LLBean guarntee, we won't have to buy a new pair every month, which was the usual duration of his previous pairs.

I purchased these for my husband who was about to go into the hospital. He is very pleased with the fit and quality of these flannel-lined silppers. The soles are non skid and the lining is quite warm and comfortable. Would recommend these as a great product.

I got these for my husband to replace the ones I got him quite a few years ago. He was glad to see that they really haven't changed over the years.

I've had these for a few days now and I love wearing them. They are a bit narrow, but I think that's kind of the point: they are slippers, so you want them to fit snug to keep your feet warm. I can't wear socks with them, but the lining does a good job by itself. As the other reviewers have said, you do have to break them in. As far as length goes, they run true to size. I usually wear a size 9 loafers, so I ordered that and the size is perfect. They are very comfortable and I'm sure that I'll be wearing these around the house for sometime to come.

I purchased a pair of these slippers for my son for Christmas and showed them to my husband when they arrived. He was impressed with the quality and the look. I ended up purchasing 2 more pairs as gifts for my other son and my husband. One son calls them his "dress slippers" and wears them as shoes. He says they are nice enough to wear all the time. All three recipients love their LLBean slippers.

I'm very pleased with these slippers. They are slightly tight with thick socks on but I expect they'll loosen up. Other than that, they are very comfortable. I don't know about the durability yet.

Durable, comfortable and warm slipper. The sole and upper never wear out. The flannel lining is the only part that has shown any wear in 4 years that I owned my last pair. I just bought a new pair but haven't given up on my old pair yet. Nice slipper.

Couldn't ask for a nicer or more comfortable slipper. Sharp looking, fits perfectly, great sole, and wont slip on wood floors. Got my son-in laws the same slippers for xmas...and they loved em. In all...have purchased 5 pairs of LL bean slippers in the past 2 months..and all I see, are 5 happy people! Only negative: the laces come undone!...I will live with that!

As usual, LL Bean delivers what they promised. Had these loafers on sale and I had a$10 discount card. I hope that they wear well as I'm in them every day, very cofortable.Going to order the suede models also.

Rarely have I ever gotten too excited about a pair of slippers, but I love these so much, I just had to write a review. By far, these are the most comfortable, best made, nicest looking slippers I have ever owned. I can't wait to get home from work and slip into them and I would wear them to bed if my wife would let me!!! Trust me, if you buy these, they will be the last and only slippers you will ever buy -- I know it will be for me!

These are really comfortable. The right amount of warmth without baking you feet. On first wearing these seemed a little snug in front, but the accompanying note said this was normal. They have broken in nicely and I wear them daily! Great value.

I know what you are thinking; that all I am going to talk about is men's handsewn slippers, flannel lined, and just how great they are. That some of the finest leather makes up the uppers and a rubberized sole to make them versatile. That they are hand sewn and laced with leather ties and they look great on my feet. That would be too obvious. So I won't, but rest assured, they are all of that and more and that is why I keep going back and ordering more.

Bought them for my son, he loves them. Comfortable right out of the box, great fit, very nice looking.

The only wish is that they had half sizes, but if you need the half go down one (9-1/2 get the 9) because they will shape and stretch after a while. In any case, they are the best slippers I have ever seen at this price. I got the 10 for my 9-1/2 feet but had to return them for the 9. No Problem. I took about a week to break them in.

I have bought house shoos at other stores for a lower price but they didn't hold up and didn't keep my feet warm; but these are wonderful. I find that I'm wearing them all the time I'm in the house and I'm tempted to wear them outside too.

I had purchased the women's version of this slipper before and was saddened when they discontinued it. Previous pair lasted me about 5 years when the flannel started wearing through (worn mostly inside and occasionally to take the trash out/get mail). Loved the slipper so much I ordered men's size (2 sizes smaller than my woman's size) hoping it would work. It does!! I wear a wide women's shoe; this felt a *little* snug at first, but within a few weeks the slipper has stretched a tiny bit and is a perfect fit!! So glad the men's version works for me! Highly recommend this slipper.
