These fit me just right. I have owned many pair, and they are fairly durable, but after enough use, anything can wear out. The rubber sole gives me traction and safety that a leather-bottomed slipper just can't. I didn't realize I was lacking such traction until I got a pair of these. Non-slip, especially when new. When the bottom is on its last legs, and is getting very thin and smooth, sure, possibly slippery on a wet kitchen floor. But that just means it's time for another pair.

Bought these for my husband. I've been buying these for him for over 20 years, and he loves them. This is either his fourth or fifth pair. - I've lost count. He wears them all the time around the house and they last for years. I only wish you made the flannel-lined slippers for women - the fleece lined are too warm for me and the men's sizes are too big.

Love the slippers. . . . They feel great on my feet, comfortable and great value for the money. They make for great camp or cabin footwear with the sole made for long wear.

Best slippers ever. This is my 6th or 7th pair. I wear them everyday when I'm inside. More comfortable than regular shoes by far.

These are the only slippers my husband wants (and gets!). He has worn this same style of LLBean slipper for years. He likes that they are non-conforming. He can wear a heavier wool sock in the winter and it is still loosely comfortable. But, in the sock-less months they are a bit sloppy-loose. Oh well. By the way, kitty likes them too for snuggling.

Actual slipper a little darker than LLB website. Very comfortable, leather lace makes for a more secure fit. Slipper bottom flexible, and not noisy on hardwood floor. A little expensive for a slipper, but happy with purchase.

Great quality, fits like a shoe. Small break in period before they easily slip on.

Finding good slippers in size 14 is difficult. Finding them in 14 wide is almost impossible so thank you LL Bean! I like these because they're well made, leather, low profile and not full of 3/4" itchy stuffing. The bottoms are firmer than the pictures allude to and a great value compared to the box store $29 holiday specials that fall apart and stink after 3 months. Also better than my old UGG slippers too. I will note, comparing to dress shoes or sneakers, the wide sizing isn't super wide but they do stretch. If you wear an E, rather than EE or EEEE, they should fit great. I have room for thin socks. Time will tell on longevity but I'll probably order another backup pair soon at this price just in case. 9/10 would recommend. Would give a 10 with thicker soles for better support but I suppose that would also add bulk. I also only use them indoor as intended. Buy them!

I have enjoyed these quality slippers for many years. Quality of construction, durability and comfort are top of the line. Leather uppers with a rubber sole make these very versatile, durable and non-skid. I have worn both the flannel and shearling (fluffy) lined versions. I prefer the flannel for fit and durability. Both are great. I generally get 2-3 years of daily use before I need to order another pair. When I say daily... I mean whenever I am in my home they are on. Try them... you will like them.
