Great look. Very comfortable. Best chukka I've owned and I have quite a few.

LLBean and these chukka boots check all the boxes: 1) Quality leather uppers and tough soles that will last. 2) Solid stitching. 3) True to size - I have wide feet so I would have liked an E option, but the D is good and the leather is supple so they are very comfy. 4) Delivered quickly 5) Great price.

These are very high quality and extremely comfortable. Looking to wearing them a long time. I'd order again!

They look great and well made. I'm not sure if I'm just not used to chukka boots or if it's a weird stiff but loose fit. Toe box is snug.

I was looking for a fall/ early spring boot. Bought the suede model when it popped up on sale. I usually don't like to buy without trying it on but took a risk. I'm a size 14 with low arch. With a light to mid weight sock it felt comfortable walking around the house. Fits just fine! It is darker than picture showed. I waterproofed the boot a little more just in case which made it a darker brown.

These are very good boots, probably as work boots. The description called them "desert boots," which is what I was looking for -- a light suede boot I could wear in warm weather. But these are fully lined with a foam lining, which the text failed to mention. In my experience that would make them pretty hot in hot weather. Since that's not what I was looking for, I returned them to my local LL Bean store. I think the description should be edited.

Liked the shoes but a little too tight for my foot.

These are comfortable shoes. I've found that having boots with flat soles like these is better for reducing lower back pain compared to boots with uneven soles. I could do without the LL Bean name on them ... seems a little silly, but it's not too visible. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Happy with everything about the shoes, except they arrived with the bottom of one shoe separated from the shoe at the toe. It has not gotten worse, so I'm trying to live with it, sending them back is too much trouble. The other pair of shoes I bought is perfect, which takes the edge off of faulty glue. My rating is 100% based on a bad batch of gorilla glue, it could happen to anybody, they just don't make glue like they used to.

LOve the chukkas, but the laces are a joke. they are flat and 45 inches long. With 2 eyelets the laces should be 24 or 27 inches long. I notice you are hiding the length in you ads by putting the extra length behind the shoe. How can you sell this mismatch? Also, the laces should be round and bumpy to stay tied. I may not ever buy from you again.

Previous reviews reported "need no breaking in", "comfortable right out of the box", I did not find that to be the case. The boots rub against my ankles so bad I can only wear them for a few minutes at a time, with very thick socks. If I don't get them broken in soon, I will miss this winter! Also, I ordered the size I wear, with all my shoes, and these boots feel too big. I am not sure that they really are because I can only wear them for a short period of time.

They are darker than the picture on the website. They are true to size.

Nice shoe, but wish the LLBean logo wasn't so prominently stamped on the tongue of the shoe. I think it cheapens the look of the shoe. Why is that necessary?

You don't have my size. I saw the item in today's catalogue. The page said it was men's & women's boots. My call determined it only comes in women's. Website has men's option. Sold out in my size.
