I felt unsafe wearing them. My feet moved in them and the sole stops me short sometimes. Afraid of falling. Nice features. Well contrasted and good looking.

Too sloppy. I have a regular foot, size 8. I can usually just buy shoes and they fit, but these were way too wide and as I walked they flew off my feet forward. Also they were sized more like an 8.5 or 9 because there was too much shoe behind my heel. Sorry L. L. Bean. I like your products well enough, but sometimes you miss the mark.

I usually wear 7.5, maybe an 8. I ordered a 7 and they are too wide. I am not able to walk around in these barefoot without them slipping off. The length was fine, so a smaller size would probably be too short.

Thes are nice looking slippers and appear to be well made but they run very large. I bought a half size smaller but they seem to stretch & I regret not choosing a whole size smaller.
It might've helped if they had an elastic band that went around your heel to help them stay on. The children's version has this addition.

I bought a pair of slippers maybe 15-20 years ago from LLBean, so I figured if I bought another pair that might be the last I ever purchase. Sadly I am wrong. Not because of quality as they seem to be contructed well and of quality material. I didnt want scuffy slippers. I prefer to pick my feet up. The problem is the type of material doesnt let me 'toe grab' to control slipper while walking. My mistake that I thought I would be able to use it as I intended and not like the name 'scuffs'. I love everything else.

Size 10, good length but wide too big. My feet keep slipping out when I walk. However the keep my feet warm so I'll just have to walk slowly.

I was disappointed with theses scuffs. The fit was big. My feet slid out easily to the point I am hesitant going down stairs with them. Not the fit I am use to with LL Bean footwear.

I love the slippershowever there's a sizing problem for me. Fit well and very comfy and sturdy but they're too loose, slide off my feet.

I've had these slippers for 5 months and find they're now too loose and sometimes slide off my foot while walking. There is no support in the instep or sides which also causes wear and tear on the insole. Bummer! Nice looking slipper

The slippers are well made, lightweight, and the footbed is very comfortable. The space that the foot slides into is quite large, not too wide, just too much space for the foot so when you take a step, the slipper shoots off the foot. I wanted to like them so much, but couldn't keep them on my feet.

The scuffs weren't attractive and the fit was too wide and long, so I have returned them. I have owned a few pairs of the wool scuff, and the fit is great.

I really liked these slippers and would have kept them if it were not for the fact that the upper part that goes over your foot had an excessive, ridiculous amount of extra room and could not be made to fit even with a thick insert pad underneath the top. If I had ordered the next size down the length would have been too short. I saw that other customers commented on this as well and I debated taking a chance on ordering. Unfortunately, I had the same problem they did. It's hard for me to imagine how these would fit well on anyone's feet, even wearing thick socks. With a redesign to correct this problem, they'd be great slippers.

The fit needs to be re-engineered in my opinion. I have average feet, not wide or narrow. The length of these slippers is true to size but they slip off because the area your foot slides into is not snug enough (the top fabric needs to be snugger to hold your foot in. I am a 7 and even went down to a size 6 in hopes they would be smaller, but the same problem. This part of the shoe wasn't even any smaller between the 7 and 6. Also, I literally walked around my kitchen only to try them and they became very slippery because the rubber attracted fibers/dust and they stuck to the sole and then it was very slippery on hardwood floor (and my house is clean!). Good concept and I really wanted a lightweight summer slipper I could run outside in - in between remote work but these are not going to work for me. I'm giving them 3 stars because someone with different feet may not have the fit issue I had. Just note that my feet are not narrow and they still slip off even after going down a full size.

I was looking for a loose, floppy, comfortable slipper to wear around the house. I needed something that would allow my toes to "breathe," after a long day of working on my feet in closed-toed shoes. Unfortunately, while these slippers were good and sturdy -- and might even be wearable outdoors -- they did not meet my needs. My toes felt closed and constricted. I returned the slippers for a full refund, which is one of the benefits of shipping with LLBean.

The slippers do not stay on your feet. When I walk, they slip off and I've almost fallen multiple times.

Soles are slick- took a few days to make them safe to wear. The instep came up high on my foot and rubbed a blister on the top of my foot on the first several wears. I usually do not have a problem with this on clogs and slip-ons. The style and material is fair- not very attractive. I bought these with a coupon and on sale. I would not have purchased them at the regular price.

Felt too loose on my foot. Felt like it would fall off easily, esp on stairs and cause a fall or trip.

I read the reviews and Bean's suggestion to order a half-size up. I actually ordered a 9M, even though I usually take 9.5W, thinking it would be a good fit. Wrong! The shoes won't stay on, too big and the canvas top is too high on the foot, so it's not easy to get your foot secure and there is no formation on the inside for your feet to grab. A slipper without a back needs to have that. So, sending them back today.
